A top Republican dropped the hammer on Paul Ryan for this sick attack on Donald Trump

Jun 18, 2024

Paul Ryan made his big entrance into the 2024 Election cycle.

No one is quite sure why he’s weighing in after he confirmed he’s a RINO.

And a top Republican dropped the hammer on Paul Ryan for this sick attack on Donald Trump.

Paul Ryan remerges to go on an anti-Trump tirade on Fox News

Former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) has kept a low profile after leaving office.

He’s cashed in to go work for a private equity firm and serves on the board of Fox News.

Ryan appeared on Fox News for an interview with host Neil Cavuto, a fellow Never-Trumper.

Cavuto noted that the former Speaker wasn’t popular with the cable news network’s audience.

Ryan used his interview to rant that former President Donald Trump is unfit for office.

“I voted for him in 2016, hoping that there was gonna be a different kind of person in office,” Ryan said. “I do think character is a really important issue if you put yourself above the Constitution, as he had done.”

He also blamed Trump for the Republican Party’s losses in recent election cycles.

“He’s cost us a lot of seats,” Ryan said. “He cost us the Senate twice. He cost us the House because he is nominating, he is pushing through the primaries people who cannot win general elections but who pledge fealty to him.”

Ryan lamented that former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley didn’t win the GOP Primary and vowed to write in a Presidential candidate this year.

Pro-Trump Congressman blasts Paul Ryan

CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju’s job is to go around Congress and put Republicans on the spot with gotcha questions.

Raju asked U.S. Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX) for his reaction to the Ryan interview on Fox News.

“Paul Ryan, you’re a piece of garbage. You’re a piece of garbage and we should kick you out of the party,” Nehls said. “Don’t go spouting your mouth off and saying that you’re a conservative. You’re spitting in the face of the leader of our party. I mean grow up a little bit.”

Ryan claims that he’s conservative but he’s willing to write in a Presidential candidate, which is tantamount to voting for President Joe Biden.

He agrees with Biden on a blank check for the war in Ukraine, both support amnesty for illegal aliens, and Big Labor.

Matt Gaetz blames Paul Ryan for Republicans losing seats

Republicans ran for years on trying to repeal Obamacare but failed when they had the chance.

U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) laid the blame at the feet of Ryan for the 2017 Obamacare repeal debacle.

“How many seats did Paul Ryan lose us? Because the last I checked, it was Paul Ryan who lost us the majority because he fumbled and bumbled on a health care bill,” Gaetz said. “We kind of lost the plot. The core thesis of every Republican election was that we were going to repeal Obamacare.”

Gaetz dismissed Ryan’s argument about electable candidates.

“What’s the point in having a majority if we don’t ever take it out for a spin, if only the people we elect want to stare at their nameplates and talk about how great they are?” Gaetz asked. “I want people who will fight on the border, on the budget, and the bureaucrats. Paul Ryan never delivered those people. Donald Trump is working to do so.”

Paul Ryan is seething that the establishment lost control of the Republican Party.

But the Republican base and their favored politicians aren’t in a hurry to hand it back to him.
