Don Lemon is one of the most obnoxious leftists on fake news CNN.
But Lemon finally met his match.
And a top Republican shut down CNN’s Don Lemon with this stone cold truth.
Republican Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy ventured on Lemon’s struggling CNN This Morning and was more than happy to educate him on American history and correct his absurd lie that America is a racist country that to this day still oppresses black people.
CNN is one of the many Fake News Media outlets demanding Republicans cave in and support legislation to ban and confiscate firearms every time a tragedy strikes in America.
Ramaswamy recently spoke at the National Rifle Association convention in Indianapolis and his speech touched on this historical fact that Democrats in the South passed the first gun control laws in America after the Civil War to disarm blacks who newly won their freedom from slavery.
Ramaswamy repeated that fact, which caused Lemon – one of the most woke social justice warriors in the corporate-controlled press – to fly off the handles.
“I want you to raise your hand if you know when the first anti-gun laws were passed in this country. Raise your hand if you do. 1865,” Ramaswamy began.
“We fought a Civil War in this country to give black Americans the equal protection under the law that we failed to secure for them in 1776. But then you wanna know what happened? Southern states passed anti-gun laws that stopped black people from owning guns. The Democrat Party, then, as in now, wanted to put them back in chains,” Ramaswamy added.
The biggest institution in America with a history of oppressing black Americans is the Democrat Party.
Southern Democrats supported slavery, gun control, and Jim Crow laws all designed to strip black Americans of their God-given rights.
This enraged Lemon, who continued telling the Big Lie that America is a systemically racist nation whose roots trace back to white supremacy.
“But black people still aren’t allowed to enjoy the freedoms as well in this country,” Lemon responded.
Ramaswamy would not let Lemon get away with saying black Americans suffered from the same type of discrimination as under Jim Crow.
“I disagree with you on that Don… I think you’re doing a disservice to this country by failing to recognize the fact that we have equality before the laws here,” Ramaswamy shot back.
Lemon pitched a fit and made the racist claim that Ramaswamy could not talk about American history and the current state of equality before the law in America since he was not black.
“I think for you to compare 1865 and 1964 — I think it’s insulting to Black people. It’s insulting to me as an African American. I don’t want to sit here and argue with you because it’s infuriating for you to put those things together,” Lemon fumed.
Ramaswamy offered up a simple comeback.
“It’s not right, your telling of history is wrong.” Ramaswamy stated.
The Left’s entire narrative is dependent upon convincing voters that America is a racist country and the only way to guarantee their rights is to vote for Democrats.
Vivek Ramaswamy is running for President to dispute that central plank of modern American leftists.
And that is why Democrat activists like Don Lemon get so flustered when Ramaswamy confronts them with facts and truth.
