CNN is trying to reposition itself as the opposition to Donald Trump.
Joe Biden just made that task more difficult.
And now a top star at CNN admitted something about Donald Trump that no one saw coming.
During the two Presidential debates in 2020, Donald Trump blasted Joe Biden for his family raking in millions of dollars from companies in Communist China, Ukraine, and Russia.
Joe Biden responded by claiming Trump was “wrong” and that “none of this is true.”
Biden then lied through his teeth to the American people by saying his son Hunter never took any money from business deals in Communist China.
“My son has not made money in terms of this thing, what are you talking about? China. I have not made money from China. The only guy who’s made money from China is this guy,” Biden ranted. “He’s the only one. Nobody else has made money from China.”
“There’s no basis for that. Everyone investigated that. No one said what he did was wrong in Ukraine,” Biden continued.
Court documents as part of Hunter Biden’s aborted plea deal, which blew up over a judge calling foul on him getting lifetime immunity, showed he received millions of dollars in payments from Communist China.
Even CNN anchor Jake Tapper had to admit that Hunter Biden made “a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow, and various other places.”
Tapper cited a Washington Post piece detailing how Hunter Biden made nearly $5 million in 2017 and 2018 from businesses in Communist China and Ukraine.
“Kessler wrote, ‘Hunter Biden reported nearly $2.4 million in income in 2017 and $2.2 million in income in 2018,’ most of which came from Chinese or Ukrainian interests,” Tapper stated.
“This directly goes against what Joe Biden said in the debate in 2020 with Donald Trump. Take a listen,” Tapper added.
Tapper then played a series of clips from both debates where Trump hammered Biden for his family’s corrupt business deals in foreign countries.
And for the first time anyone could ever remember, Tapper had to give Trump credit and admit that he was “right.”
“So this is from two different debates, but I mean Trump was right. I mean, he did make a fortune from China and Joe Biden was wrong,” Tapper concluded.
