It’s not a secret anymore that the radical Left hates Christians.
They have made it a key part of their agenda to destroy Christianity in America.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lost her mind when she saw this Christian Super Bowl ad.
For most Americans, the Super Bowl has become a display of excessive leftist ideology.
From the two separate National Anthems to the Black Lives Matter banners to the half-time show, the “Big Game” is not like it used to be.
Multi-million-dollar ad buys still rule the “Big Game”
Despite a drop in viewership as the NFL gets ever more woke, multi-million dollar ad buys are still all the rage during the game.
The average cost for a 30-second ad during the Super Bowl is a whopping $7 million.
This Super Bowl featured the regular beer ads, candy ads, ads for upcoming movies and TV shows, snack food ads, and car ads.
It also featured ads for various Big Tech companies and even ads for upcoming sporting events.
But this year there was a new entry into the ad wars.
An ad called He Gets Us promoting the Christian faith and Jesus, ran during the Super Bowl.
The Christian group He Gets Us reportedly spent $20 million on two Super Bowl advertisements.
This was simply too much for the radical Left.
Christian Super Bowl ad featuring Jesus promotes ‘fascism’
The Leftists just can’t stand anything on TV that doesn’t promote their radical ideology.
They usually attack it and call it either fascism or racism.
That’s exactly what Ocasio-Cortez did after the ad ran on Super Bowl Sunday.
The New York bartender turned Congresswoman faced an immediate backlash on social media after the radical Democrat accused a pro-Christian Super Bowl advertisement of advocating “fascism.”
“Something tells me Jesus would *not* spend millions of dollars on Super Bowl ads to make fascism look benign,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in a tweet.
The advertising campaign in question was funded by the family who owns Hobby Lobby, some Christian groups, and a few anonymous donors.
The ads were done in an effort to spread the message of Jesus to LGBTQ+ people and other communities who have often felt unwelcome by Christianity.
One commercial features a slideshow of black-and-white images of migrants fleeing their homes to avoid persecution.
The ad revealed that the story is actually about Jesus, his mother Mary, and her husband Joseph.
The other ad displays black-and-white images of disputes between people over racial justice, pandemic lockdowns, and politics.
The ad then states, “Jesus loved the people we hate.”
Not even good Christian ads
What is the most mind-boggling about these ads is, although well meaning, they don’t even follow Biblical truth or scripture.
For example, left out of the ads is one of the key tenets of Christianity, which is that to accept Christ, you must also confess your sins, repent, ask for forgiveness, and then strive to not commit those sins going forward.
These ads focus only on trying to win people over by making a point about love.
And while Christians are commanded to love everyone, they are also commanded to despise sin, and hold fellow believers accountable.
So these ads are quite left-wing in their theology.
But that didn’t stop Ocasio-Cortez from attacking them.
