Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is constantly trying to pick fights with Republicans.
This usually doesn’t end up working out well for her.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was fuming after a top Republican delivered this epic takedown.
President Joe Biden nominated acting Labor Secretary Julie Su to formally lead the Cabinet Department.
Su failed upwards into the Biden regime as Deputy Labor Secretary after a disastrous stint as the Secretary of California’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency.
California had $32 billion in pandemic related unemployment benefits stolen by scammers who filed false unemployment claims under her command.
Su admitted that the state didn’t have proper security measures in place to stop the massive fraud and tried to blame former President Donald Trump for her colossal blunder.
She’s now ready to be a puppet for Big Labor by pushing their job-killing political agenda.
Radical Labor Secretary nominee under fire
Julie Su faced tough questions from Republicans on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee during her confirmation hearing.
Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) ran his family’s plumbing business in Oklahoma before he was elected to Congress.
He grilled Su about her lack of experience running a business.
“You seem like a super nice individual,” Mullin said to Su. “Being super nice doesn’t qualify you to be Secretary of Labor. If you don’t have that basic understanding of knowing what it’s like, then how can you truly relate and represent both sides? For instance, have you ever been an employer?”
Su admitted that she’s never owned a business.
“Then you don’t understand how hard it is to sit awake at night trying to figure out how you’re going to man a job when you don’t have the people,” Mullin remarked.
Mullin said that she would lead the Labor Department with “bias” because she wouldn’t look out for employers.
Su has received strong backing from Big Labor for her work to put Union Bosses ahead of workers in California.
She supported the state’s catastrophic law that reclassified independent contractors like freelancers and gig workers into employees, which made them easier targets for unionization attempts.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pounces on Republicans
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tried to take a swipe at Mullin on social media for standing up for small business owners in the Su confirmation hearing.
“Someone should inform the Senator that the position is not Secretary of Bosses,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. It’s Secretary of LABOR.”

Mullin gave the former bartender a reality check about the position.
“The Secretary of Labor’s role is to enforce laws without bias, not to be a crusader against job creators on behalf of politically connected labor unions like those supporting Julie Su and Democrat politicians,” Mullin said.
Ocasio-Cortez, like Su, has no experience running a business.
“Everyone in America knows that labor has two sides and jobs simply do not exist without entrepreneurs taking the risk to start a business,” Mullin added. “What’s ironic about Democrats’ perspective is that employers are employees themselves, and in a good company everyone rows in the same direction.”
Democrats are trying to put workers last by installing an incompetent Labor Secretary who will only look out for special interests.
