Alina Habba let Democrats know Donald Trump is ready for war with this brutal message

Jun 7, 2024

Democrats thought that Donald Trump’s criminal conviction was going to be a fatal blow.

But his campaign shows no signs of slowing down.

And Alina Habba let Democrats know Donald Trump is ready for war with this brutal message.

Donald Trump’s campaign isn’t getting derailed by witch hunt

Soros-backed Manhattan District Alvin Bragg delivered what Democrats hope will be a game-changing event in the 2024 Election with a criminal conviction of former President Donald Trump in a kangaroo court.

The criminal cases against the former President were always motivated by politics.

Democrats and their media allies believe that the trajectory of the election is going to change because they can shout from the rooftops that Trump is a “convicted felon.”

Now they’re hoping to get one last assist in the case from Democrat Judge Juan Merchan – a donor to President Joe Biden’s campaign.

He’s scheduled to sentence Trump on July 11, which is four days before the start of the Republican National Convention.

Trump said during an interview on Fox & Friends Weekend that he’s not worried about going to jail.

“I’m OK with it,” Trump remarked. “I saw one of my lawyers the other day on television saying, ‘Oh no, you don’t want to do that to the president.’ I said: You don’t beg for anything.”

Now the next phase of Bragg’s scam case is awaiting the judge’s sentencing decision.

Alina Habba spars with BBC reporter over Trump case

Trump legal spokeswoman Alina Habba appeared on BBC One for an interview where she was asked if the former President would end his campaign if he was sent to jail.

“We have seen some corruption that this country has frankly never seen before in our judicial system,” Habba said. “It is very real. It is not posturing by any means. It is 100% a problem that this country is going to have to handle and get a grapple on in November.”

“Donald Trump is the victim of political selective prosecution,” Habba added.

BBC host Laura Kuenssberg asked her if Trump would run from a jail cell.

“He is running for President,” Habba replied. “Nothing will change that.”

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is already preparing for the possibility of Trump being jailed before the convention.

RNC Co-Chairman Michael Whatley said that contingency plans are being made if Trump is in jail during the convention.

Kuenssberg kept pressing with the jail question.

“Again, I recommend you find the latest polls in this country from the people that live in this country,” Habba replied. “The people that need him in this country. Because frankly, it’s more important than anything anybody else thinks. Our people are speaking loudly. They’re donating. They’re small donors, and they’re standing up because they’re afraid. Because we cannot have this happen to us.”

Democrats hoped that criminal conviction would be the death knell for the Trump campaign.

But his fundraising exploded with more than $50 million raised in the first 24 hours after the conviction was announced.

And 30% of those donations came from first-time contributors, a sign new voters were being activated.

Trump’s criminal conviction could end up backfiring on Democrats.
