An Army sniper sounded the alarm on this disturbing Secret Service decision

The assassination attempt against Donald Trump put the Secret Service in the hot seat.

Some experts say the agency’s failure is worse than anyone could have ever imagined.

And an Army sniper sounded the alarm on this disturbing Secret Service decision.

The Secret Service doesn’t want the truth to come out

The Secret Service hasn’t been transparent with the American people about the near assassination of former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) – a former sniper with the 82nd Airborne Division – realized the Secret Service and the FBI couldn’t be trusted in their investigations into the Trump assassination attempt.

That’s why he launched his own independent investigation into what happened at the Butler rally with several of his fellow House Republicans.

Mills appeared on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime, where he revealed the alarming errors that the Secret Service made at the Trump rally.

The former sniper held a panel discussion at the Heritage Foundation with SWAT counter sniper Ben Shaffer, a member of local enforcement who worked security at the rally.

“We had our very first hearing today, if you will, our forum where we had Ben Shaffer, who is one of the actual counter snipers that was on the ground there,” Mills explained. “He confirmed not only what type of a sophisticated explosive device that Thomas Crooks had, as well as for the multi-channel detonator, but he also confirmed two key things.”

Shaffer confirmed that the Secret Service made two catastrophic errors before the rally.

“One, that the Secret Service refused the offer of communication platforms to be able to ensure that everyone has a comms channel that they can utilize,” Mills said. “And two, that they were offered a surveillance drone by local law enforcement, and once again, the Secret Service refused to utilize it.”

Local law enforcement was communicating via text message during the Trump rally.

The Secret Service didn’t invite local enforcement to the command center before, where the various agencies working the event coordinate.

Failing to plan is planning to fail

“So now we have three things, Jesse,” Mills stated. “We have no comms plan and no communications, which is refused.”

Fox News host Jesse Watters asked Mills why the Secret Service would refuse the help.

“I think that they’re going to try and run this whole idea of negligence or the fact that they’re going to try and say that it was the fault of three or four of the officers,” Mills said.

Mills said that problems at the Secret Service went straight to the top.

“The bottom line stops at the director themselves,” Mills explained. “And I can tell you, we asked Dan Bongino today, former Secret Service officer, whether or not he feels safer with [acting Secret Service director] Ronald Rowe at the seat, and he said, absolutely not.”

He warned there are deep-rooted problems at the Secret Service.

“I went through a plethora of lists since 2023 to 2024 of all the failed and missed steps that has been taken by the Secret Service,” Mills continued. “So I can tell you, it is a culture issue, it is DEI [diversity, equity, and inclusion] at heart, but this is either criminal gross negligence or purposeful intent, and that’s what we’ve set out to actually find.”
