Blake Masters absolutely destroyed Mark Kelly with these five words

Oct 14, 2022

The race for control of the U.S. Senate is heating up with less than a month to go.

That’s leading Democrats to run from their past votes and positions in an effort to fool voters.

But Blake Masters absolutely destroyed Mark Kelly with these five words.

Within the next month we will know who has control of both Houses of Congress.

Will the GOP ride the “red wave” all the way to November, or do Democrats have enough sandbags to stop the wave from flooding Capitol Hill with America First Republicans?

It looks as if the House will flip to the GOP, but the Senate is another story altogether.

This race could decide Senate control

And the Arizona Senate race is being watched closely by both sides.

A GOP win in Arizona could be the race that decides Senate control for the next two years.

And Trump-endorsed GOP candidate Blake Masters is making some noise in his bid to unseat Democrat Mark Kelly.

Masters was considered an upset winner of the GOP Senate Primary even though he had Donald Trump’s strong endorsement.

But he has made quite a showing so far and now he has Kelly on the ropes.

It doesn’t hurt that Masters has been able to keep Trump’s strong support while picking up the backing of outside GOP groups.

He also has garnered the support of other GOP moderates like Lindsey Graham, who will be attending a national security conference with Masters.

And it is problematic for the Democrats that this race is taking place in a border state that has seen some of the worst of Biden’s border blunders.

The border and national security are top issues in Arizona

Arizonans know firsthand the dangers posed by Biden’s border policies.

And among those concerns is national security.

Republican Arizona Senate nominee Blake Masters will join Senator Lindsey Graham, (R-SC) in headlining an event addressing issues related to national security.

The event is hosted by former Trump administration State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus and her national security advocacy organization Polaris National Security.

And no surprise to most political observers it is being held in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The event will include an hour-long discussion with Masters, Graham, and former acting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Chad Wolf.

Ortagus told Fox News it will be an opportunity for people to see political leaders and candidates on stage addressing the national security issues facing the country.

Fox News Digital also spoke with Blake Masters, who said he planned to highlight how much safer the U.S. was before Joe Biden was installed as President.

“The world has always been a dangerous place, but I think it’s gotten a lot more dangerous . . . and it’s because of Biden and his failed leadership,” Masters said.

He also slammed his Democrat opponent, incumbent Senator Mark Kelly, for not standing up to the Biden administration when it came to things like the disastrous and deadly Afghanistan withdrawal.

“Mark Kelly is on the Armed Services Committee, and he didn’t even seem to care about getting to the bottom of what happened, even after the fact,” Masters said.

Mark Kelly has “fooled” voters on his border position

Of course, one of the top national security issues facing the United States is the open border policy of the Biden administration that has seen millions of illegals cross into the country unhindered.

When asked about Kelly’s statements during the recent debate between the two candidates regarding his disagreement with the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis, Masters dismissed the notion that Kelly has really broken with his fellow Democrats.

“He’s fooled some people, perhaps, into thinking that he’s broken with them, but calling policy he’s been supporting in lock step for 22 months . . . ‘a mess’ like he tried to do at the debate the other night? Actions speak louder than words,” Masters said, citing Kelly’s votes against a number of measures to address the serious issues at the border.

Actions speak louder than words, indeed.

And recent polling shows the majority of voters favor Republicans to handle the issue of national security over their Democrat counterparts, especially when it comes to addressing the ongoing migrant crisis at the U.S. southern border.

That makes this race all the more important to watch.

If Blake Masters can pull off the upset in Arizona it could mean a very long night, and two years, for Democrats.
