In the world of fast-food chicken, there is no doubt that Chick-fil-A is at the top.
Its excellent customer service coupled with its consistently good chicken has made the conservative Christian fast-food place an American favorite.
And now Chick-fil-A just announced a new chicken sandwich with this unique and mouth-watering topping.
Chick-fil-A is launching a chicken sandwich topped with pimento cheese as a new seasonal menu option.
Two new menu options to please the palate
The Atlanta-based fast-food chain, known as much for its Christian identity as for its chicken, said it’s new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich will of course include its well-known original chicken filet, plus a few new toppings that offer a “sweet and subtle spicy kick.”
In addition to its “custom-made” pimento cheese, the sandwich’s toppings will also include “mildly pickled” jalapenos and drizzled honey, a Chick-fil-A spokesman said.
But the chicken sandwich with a kick isn’t the only new menu option Chick-fil-A is offering up this fall.
The rollout of the pimento cheese-topped sandwich joins the Caramel Crumble Milkshake at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide.
According to the company, the availability of the new menu items will last as long as supplies do.
“Combining new and surprising ingredients with classic Chick-fil-A flavors, we hope both these new menu items will deliver a delicious new spring for our guests to enjoy,” Chick-fil-A Menu and Packaging Director Leslie Neslage said in a statement.
A sweet new shake
For many, Chick-fil-A is known as much for its creamy and thick milkshakes as it is for its chicken and Sunday closures.
And the new milkshake promises to continue that legacy of smoothness and sweetness.
The new milkshake will be Chick-fil-A’s seventh seasonal shake, and already customers are lining up to savor its mix of creaminess and crunchiness.
The limited-edition milkshake is “made with creamy butterscotch caramel flavors, hand-spun Chick-fil-A Icedream, blondie crumbles and topped with whipped cream and a cherry,” according to a company press release.
This makes it very unlikely that supplies of this milkshake will last long.
Both the Caramel Crumble Milkshake and the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich are being released after undergoing extensive market testing just a few years ago.
For the sandwich, that took place in Asheville, North Carolina, and upstate South Carolina in 2020.
And people in the Salt Lake City area of Utah were able to try the shake, which at the time was called Butterscotch Crumble.
The new milkshake
Last year, the company made available an Autumn Spice Milkshake and Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich for a limited time in the fall.
Chick-fil-A now reports that it has more than 2,800 locations across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.
And with the release of these new flavorful menu items, it is almost certain that the company will continue to see increased sales and growth.
The fact that Chick-fil-A continues to stick to Chrisitan principles in its operations doesn’t hurt the brand either.
