The federal government is supposed to exist to help Americans.
But over the years it has become more of an enemy to the people.
And Chip Roy tore into Joe Biden with eight words that left jaws on the floor.
Ronald Reagan had many great quotes.
But perhaps his most telling and true was, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help.’”
As true as it was in Ronald Reagan’s time, it has become a daily fact of life for far too many American citizens.
Nothing short of tyranny
And now more and more people, including elected officials, are willing to stand up to the tyrannical federal government.
Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX), just called out the federal government, and the Biden administration for the treachery of executive branch “tyranny.”
Especially the rapid weaponization of the federal government against law-abiding Americans.
Almost every branch of the federal government has devolved into a militarized political arm of the Democrat Party and the radical Left.
From the IRS to the FBI, from the Department of Education to the EPA, and from the FDA to BATF, the feds have put in place programs that target anyone who dares to disagree with the Biden administration.
Conservatives, Christians, homeschoolers, gun owners, libertarians, election integrity groups, and medical freedom Americans are all under attack by a fully-weaponized and politicized federal government.
Time to shine a spotlight on the Biden administration’s abuses
Now Congressman Roy has joined a growing chorus of concerned citizens and politicians who fear the continued abuses of the Constitution by federal government agencies.
Roy called for shining a spotlight on how Joe Biden and his comrades have “weaponized the federal government against the American people.”
“I think it’s important to know the extent to which this administration . . . has weaponized the federal government against the American people,” Roy said. “It ain’t enough to have some hearings and call some people in and yell at them.”
That is exactly what many Americans have been saying since the Obama administration started the rapid weaponization of the feds.
And it is a good omen that maybe, just maybe, the Republicans now in control of the House will take some real action to stop it.
Roy also listed a number of instances of the federal government working to attack law abiding citizens.
“Burn the place down”
One of the tools the feds are using is to brand anyone who dare speak out against the current administration’s policies as a domestic terrorist.
Roy said, “The Department of Justice was very clearly collaborating with the National School Board Association with the White House to politicize . . . a father, a citizen, for walking into a school board meeting in Leesburg, Virginia, to challenge that school board for what happened to his daughter.”
The Texas Congressman was describing the Loudoun County, Virginia School Board rape coverup and the federal targeting of the victim’s father Scott Smith.
“He was being made the poster child for the Department of Justice — the federal Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. — to be labeled a domestic terrorist,” Roy said.
Roy then said the words that brought cheers from across the nation, “I could go through 10 examples, that one is enough for me to want to burn the place down. I’m not talking about nibbling around the edges, burn the place down.”
And that is exactly what is needed.
House Republicans must vote to end funding for any agency that targets Americans simply for their beliefs.
