The “woke” movement has caused many comedians to change their acts and scale back their jokes.
But some comedians are fighting back with a vengeance.
And comedian Tim Allen just mocked the “wokees” with one hilarious line that has them seeing red.
It wasn’t that long ago that comedy was fun.
Comedians of all political stripes, and of all races and religions, made cutting jokes about pretty much everyone.
And people laughed!
Now, with the new sensitive, woke culture, those days of good comedy may be behind us.
Never give up, never surrender!
But there are a growing number of comedians who have said, “enough!”
Or as Buzz Lightyear himself put it in Toy Story, “Never give up, never surrender!”
And Tim Allen is one of the leading voices in the comedy crowd who is fighting back against woke culture.
The Hollywood star mocked the those in the “woke” culture in a tweet, asking, “Do wokees have a club house in someone’s backyard or maybe a cute yet safe playpen somewhere?”
Of course, Allen was immediately attacked on social media by the woke outrage mob that took great offense at his comments.
Remember when the Left claimed to be both tolerant and free speech advocates?
Of course, this is not the first time Allen has come under fire from the woke left.
Last Man Standing
Allen- In fact, had an entire show based around, in part, his conservative, pro-Trump brand of politics.
Most of the episodes featured Allen berating his leftist son-in-law, and taking the radical Left woke cultists to the tool shed.
To the Left’s dismay, the show, Last Man Standing, was a huge hit with massive ratings.
Last year, during a standup comedy show, Allen, who has also trashed the leftist “thought police” and the negative impact they have had on comedy, poked fun at government agents who were policing his performance.
Allen was on his way to Michigan for two sold-out shows after being off stage for well over a year.
You are a sad, strange little man
Also last year, Allen mentioned that he didn’t join in on the anti-Trump “lynching crowd,” and that he “kind of liked” how former President Donald Trump “pissed people off” while he was President.
The Last Man Standing star has repeatedly opened up about politics in a podcast interview, where he also shared his disdain for taxes.
And Allen has made it clear how he feels about our sad, strange President Joe Biden.
Just last month, Allen caused a leftist weeping and wailing session on Twitter when he posted a joke about President Joe Biden’s mental decline.
The Toy Story star mocked Biden’s recent interview on CBS’ 60 Minutes during which the 79-year-old President refused to answer important questions about sky-high inflation and his own mental capacity.
It is refreshing to see stars like Allen fight back.
We need more like him to restore comedy to its rightful place in our culture.
