And Donald Trump dropped a bombshell about Alvin Bragg that stunned Americans into silence.
Speaking at a rally in Florida, Donald Trump told a large crowd of supporters that Joe Biden and the Democrats indicted him because his supporters refused to break from him.
“Every time I’m indicted, I consider it a great badge of honor because I’m being indicted for you,” Trump declared. “I’m being indicted for you, and never forget our enemies want to take away my freedom because I will never ever, ever let them take away your freedom. I won’t let it happen.”
Alvin Bragg was the first Democrat out of the gate to indict Trump.
Bragg set the tone by filing a clearly politically motivated case on charges that no prosecutor in New York ever brought before.
Jack Smith and Fani Willis followed suit with their attempts to criminalize Trump’s political speech and activities.
Trump told his supporters that the Deep State came after him because the American people elected him in 2016 to Drain the Swamp, which threatened the traditional power centers of endless wars, globalist trade deals, and open borders to import millions of foreign workers into America.
“They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you. I will never let them do it. And in the end, they’re not after me, they’re after you. I just happen to be standing in their way,” Trump stated.
Trump said that Joe Biden directed all of these criminal cases, even the bogus civil fraud suit in New York, as a scheme to interfere in the 2024 election.
“Even that stupid trial going on in New York — which has been totally discredited, everybody’s been discredited — that all comes out of the White House,” Trump continued. “That’s to discourage people from voting. That’s to hurt us.”
The New York Times reported last April that Joe Biden complained to his closest advisors that Attorney General Merrick Garland was moving too slowly in prosecuting Trump.
It was no coincidence that shortly thereafter, the witch hunts against Trump accelerated, and criminal charges soon followed.
