Donald Trump isn’t about to sit back and let the Democrat Party’s lawfare roll over him.

And Donald Trump filed the one legal document that terrifies Democrats.
Donald Trump’s lawyers filed a motion to declare a mistrial in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil fraud suit against him on account of the biased conduct by Democrat Judge Arthur Engoron.
“The evidence of apparent and actual bias is tangible and overwhelming,” Trump’s lawyers wrote in their motion. “Such evidence, coupled with an unprecedented departure from standard judicial procedure, has tainted these proceedings and a mistrial is warranted.”
“This appearance of bias threatens both Defendants’ rights and the integrity of the judiciary as an institution,” the motion added.
Engoron ruled that James proved Trump committed fraud by inflating the value of his assets before the trial even began.
Now it’s in the penalty phase where Engoron will decide how much in damages James can collect.
This could result in the court forcing Trump to sell off his New York assets, including Trump Tower.
The motion cites Engoron including articles about the case and Trump’s children in the alumni newsletter as evidence of bias.
“A judge shall not make any public comment about a pending or impending proceeding in any court within the United States or its territories,” the motion continued.
Trump’s lawyers also cited Chuck Schumer fan and Engoron clerk Allison Greenfield’s conduct in the trial – she’s been passing notes to Engoron and has taken an outsized role in the proceedings – as further justification for a mistrial.
“The principal law clerk is given unprecedented and inappropriate latitude,” Trump’s lawyers argued.
Judge Engoron will surely dismiss this motion.
Trump’s lawyers will then appeal to the State Supreme Court in New York.
This case is a complete abuse of power.
James alleged fraud even though there are no victims.
Engoron happily went along for the ride, as Democrats have no problem weaponizing the justice system to destroy Trump financially and politically.
Donald Trump’s only real crime was winning the 2016 election.
The biased conduct on display in the courtroom by Judge Engoron is a reminder to Americans of that fact.
