The FBI’s disgusting raid on Donald Trump is the biggest news in the country.
And every time the DOJ tries to defend it, they just make it worse.
That’s why Donald Trump, Jr. just went “nuclear” about the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid and it’s hilarious.
The responses to Biden’s DOJ-led raid on Donald Trump ranged from anger to disbelief, and everything in between.
Even many Democrats couldn’t believe the FBI would be so openly partisan in its attacks on the former President.
And leading Republicans have even called for the disbanding of the FBI and a full investigation into the Department of Justice.
It’s time to impeach Merrick Garland
Articles of impeachment were introduced against Attorney General Merrick Garland after the raid.
Garland of course, at first claimed to know nothing about it, but then soon changed his tune and admitted he personally approved it.
This only increased the fury and outrage from Congressional Republicans and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-NC) immediately drafted Articles of Impeachment against Garland.
She was joined by other conservative stalwarts in the House and even GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy promised a full investigation.
The anger was of course amplified on social media as conservatives took to posting their disgust and frustration at the usurping of power by an out-of-control federal police state.
But anger wasn’t the only response.
Sometimes you’ve just got to laugh at the Feds
While the Trump family was understandably angry and disgusted from the outset of the raid, it turns out they also know how to turn that anger into scoring humorous political points.
Donald Trump Jr., on the campaign trail recently said it would “probably be good” if former President Donald Trump had stored nuclear codes at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
In a campaign event for Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL), before the Florida primaries, Trump, Jr. mocked speculation about the classified documents recovered during the FBI’s raid on Trump’s property earlier.
“Donald Trump has the nuclear codes in the linen closet at Mar-a-Lago!” he exclaimed.
But the former President’s eldest son didn’t stop there!
He then went on to suggest that it may not be such a bad thing if the former President did store the nation’s nuclear secrets at his Florida estate.
“By the way, for the record, I say that if Donald Trump actually still had the nuclear codes it would probably be good,” he said.
“Our enemies — our enemies — might actually be like, ‘OK, maybe, let’s not mess with them.’ I’m like, when they look at Joe Biden, then they say, ‘We should attack now.’”
He has a valid point
While Trump, Jr. was certainly just kidding (wasn’t he?), he does have a valid point.
Our enemies have already proven time and time again that they aren’t scared of Joe Biden at all.
Maybe if they thought Donald Trump still had his finger on the button, they might think twice about any further militaristic assaults on the U.S. and our allies.
It certainly couldn’t be any worse than it is under the bumbling Biden administration.
