Donald Trump just made the one move Biden’s DOJ fears the most

The battle over the FBI’s raid on former President Trump is heating up.

And Democrats are worried it’s going to cost them in November.

That’s because Donald Trump just made the one move Biden’s DOJ fears the most.

There have been great defeats throughout history brought on by a leader or a general going just one step too far on the attack.

The Union decided to attack Virginia at the battle of Manassas, twice.

Napoleon suffered his crushing defeat at Waterloo.

Hitler tried a two-front ground war in Europe.

Japan decided to attack the United States.

And Joe Biden’s FBI raided Donald Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago.

Mar-a-Lago could be the Democrats’ Waterloo

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was one step too far for many Americans.

And poll after poll shows it was a major blunder by the Biden administration.

Never before in U.S. history has a former President been on the receiving end of an FBI raid.

And based on the reactions of the American people, he is likely to be the last one as well.

Because so far, the raid has been a major defeat for Biden and the Democrats.

And many are saying this could be Biden’s Waterloo, referring to Napoleon’s defeat by the British.

The main problem for Democrats is this battle isn’t over yet.

In fact, it’s just getting started.

And the more it’s in the news, the worse it is for Democrats.

Clearly, Democrats didn’t expect Donald Trump to punch back.

Trump just doubled down

Former President Donald Trump’s legal team has now elevated its legal battle all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Trump’s lawyers have requested Justice Clarence Thomas, who has jurisdiction over the 11th Circuit, to vacate the stay by the court that allowed the Justice Department to continue its review of classified documents seized during the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago.

Initially, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon issued an injunction against the DOJ’s use of the documents marked as classified to be used for investigative purposes.

The 11th Circuit overturned Cannon’s order and prevented court-appointed Special Master Raymond Dearie from reviewing those materials.

The panel had limited Dearie’s review to only the non-classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago.

That decision only got Trump and his team fired up, and not surprisingly they went on the offensive, writing a blistering filing with the Supreme Court.

“The unprecedented circumstances presented by this case—an investigation of the Forty-Fifth President of the United States by the administration of his political rival and successor—compelled the District Court to acknowledge the significant need for enhanced vigilance and to order the appointment of a Special Master to ensure fairness, transparency, and maintenance of the public trust,” the filing states.

“That appointment order is simply not appealable on an interlocutory basis and was never before the Eleventh Circuit. Nonetheless, the Eleventh Circuit granted a stay of the Special Master Order, effectively compromising the integrity of the well-established policy against piecemeal appellate review and ignoring the District Court’s broad discretion without justification,” the filing goes on.

Eroding public confidence in our justice system

Trump’s legal team added that this “unwarranted stay should be vacated as it impairs substantially the ongoing, time-sensitive work of the Special Master.”

“Moreover, any limit on the comprehensive and transparent review of materials seized in the extraordinary raid of a President’s home erodes public confidence in our system of justice,” the filing continued.

Certainly, on that count Trump is correct.

Americans realize the Department of Justice and FBI have become simply party police forces for Joe Biden and the Democrats.

That’s why many Americans now favor dismantling the FBI and defunding the Department of Justice.

And they know that if even a former President of the United States can be a target, then anyone can.
