The Democrats who run the Fulton County jail sought to humiliate Trump by forcing him to take a mugshot.
District Attorney Fani Willis saw Trump surrender to authorities on criminal charges that the Babylon Bee joked amounted to challenging an election while not being a Democrat.
Democrat Sheriff Pat LaBat also forced Trump to take a mugshot, an indignity the Biden administration or Soros-backed District Attorney Alvin Bragg did not force him to endure when they arrested him on their politically motivated charges.
But Trump found a way to turn the mugshot into his political advantage and dominate the conversation.

Trump also used the photo as a political rallying cry, as he posted the photo on X, formerly Twitter, which was his first post on the app since 2021.

Twitter – along with every other social media platform – banned Trump after the events of January 6.
But Elon Musk restored Trump’s account after purchasing the platform.
Donald Trump won the 2016 election in large part due to the fact that he could use Twitter to directly communicate his message to voters without the filter of the media.
That’s why Democrats and the media pressured Twitter to censor Trump’s account in the lead up to the 2020 election.
Twitter complied and hid some of his posts under the false claim that they were “sensitive content.”
Facebook joined Twitter in swinging the election to Joe Biden by censoring the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story.
Democrats know the ability to speak and share information freely on the internet means Trump holds the upper hand.
That’s why the Left pushes for the strictest online censorship regime possible.
The lesson Democrats took away from the 2020 election is that controlling the information voters see is the pathway to victory.
