One journalist asked Trump about Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis preparing to hand down the Democrats’ fourth criminal indictment against him.
Willis plans to indict Trump on baseless charges for exercising his First Amendment right to contest the 2020 election.
The reporter wanted to know if Trump would cut a plea deal to make this case go away.
“Is there any chance you take a plea deal in Georgia?” the reporter asked.
Trump exploded on the reporter by calling it a “wise guy question” and vowing to fight the sham charges an elected Democrat prosecutor is bringing against him as part of a plan to interfere in the 2024 election.
“We did nothing wrong. We don’t ever take a plea deal. We don’t take plea deals. It’s a wise guy question. You’re just a wise guy,” Trump declared. “We don’t take plea deals because I did nothing wrong. It’s called election interference.”

Trump expanded on these comments and pointed to multiple reports in the New York Times where Joe Biden made it clear that he wanted to see him prosecuted in order to demonstrate to the American people that these criminal indictments were all part of a coordinated strategy to take down his leading 2024 challenger.
“Because these indictments are going out by Biden – who can’t even put two sentences together. This is Joe Biden. Because he can’t win the election by himself. He can’t win the election based on votes. So what they did is they got the Attorney General to do it. And then you see how stupid they acted yesterday with the appointment of the Special Counsel. They call it Special Counsel. And what a crazy thing that was. And it’s being laughed at all over the world,” Trump concluded.
