Donald Trump revealed one shocking regret about Hillary Clinton

Sep 1, 2023

Donald Trump defeating Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election should have been the end of their story.

But it wasn’t.

And Donald Trump revealed one shocking regret about Hillary Clinton.

A staple chant at Trump rallies during the 2016 campaign was when the crowd would roar “lock her up” about Clinton mishandling classified information on her unsecured private email server.

One of the signature moments of the campaign came during a town hall debate when Trump told Clinton she would be in jail if he won the election.

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey and the Obama Justice Department all gave Clinton a pass on prosecution because she was the Democrat nominee for President, and everyone thought she was a shoo-in to win the election.

But after Trump won, he tried to be magnanimous and declined to prosecute Clinton because he thought it would help unite the country.

But six years and four indictments brought against him by Democrat prosecutors caused Trump to re-evaluate this position.

The Blaze’s Glenn Beck asked Trump point blank if he regretted not putting Clinton in jail after his win in the 2016 election and if he would put Democrats in jail this time if re-elected President.

“You said in 2016, you know, ‘lock her up.’ And then when you became President, you said, ‘We don’t do that in America.’ That’s just not the right thing to do. That’s what they’re doing. Do you regret not locking her up? And if you’re President again, will you lock people up?” Beck asked.

Trump already promised that if he wins next year, he will instruct the Attorney General to appoint a special counsel to investigate the Biden family’s alleged influence peddling scheme as well as other potential crimes.

Donald Trump made it clear to Beck that if he secures a second term, then it will be different since Democrats weaponized the justice system against him.

“Well, I’ll give you an example. Uh, the answer is you have no choice because they’re doing it to us,” Trump answered.

Trump believes Joe Biden ordered the prosecutions against him – and the New York Times did report that he complained to aides that Trump deserved to be prosecuted and that Attorney General Merrick Garland was not moving fast enough in indicting him.

“I always had such great respect for the office of the President and the Presidency. And I never hit Biden as hard as I could have. And then I heard he was trying to indict me and it was him that was doing it,” Trump concluded.

Democrats pushed America into uncharted territory through the weaponization of the government.

But they may not like the Pandora’s box they opened if Donald Trump becomes President again in 2024.
