Donald Trump’s first term was marred by relentless persecution from the Deep State.
His second term could be the end of their rule over Washington, D.C.’s “Swamp.”
And Donald Trump was grinning from ear to ear over this plan to dismantle the Deep State.
Former President Donald Trump is on the comeback trail for the White House after learning valuable lessons during his first term.
Politicians come and go in Washington, D.C.’s “Swamp,” but the unelected bureaucrats who make up the government remain the same.
Trump’s Presidency revealed that these shadowy Deep State actors hold the power behind the scenes of government.
A second term would allow Trump to drain the “Swamp” of these rogue bureaucrats.
A plan is underway to ensure that a second term for the former President would not be plagued with the same Deep State problems he dealt with before.
Conservative groups working on a plan to tackle the Deep State
A group of conservative organizations are already preparing for a potential second term for Donald Trump after the 2024 election.
The Heritage Foundation is leading an effort that includes former Trump officials to eliminate Deep State bureaucrats when he returns to office.
Project 2025 is an effort to smash the power of the Deep State on Day One by firing up to 50,000 government workers and ensuring that conservatives are ready to move into positions of power within the federal government.
Paul Dans is a former Trump official who is working with the 2025 Presidential Transition Project.
“We need to flood the zone with conservatives,” Dans said. “This is a clarion call to come to Washington. People need to lay down their tools and step aside from their professional life and say, ‘This is my lifetime moment to serve.’”
Trump dealt with career government bureaucrats who undermined his conservative vision during his first term.
Project 2025 is working to ensure that an army of loyal conservatives is ready to hit the ground running on his first day back in office.
Not only that, but Trump issued an executive order called Schedule F that will allow him to get rid of Deep State bureaucrats who are nearly impossible to remove because of federal civil service laws.
Schedule F would allow the President to reclassify tens of thousands of government workers to remove their civil service protections and make it easier to fire them.
“The President, Day One, will be a wrecking ball for the administrative state,” former Trump official Russ Vought said.
Biden rescinded the Schedule F executive order shortly after taking office in 2021.
Project 2025 is also working on coming up with a list of people to fill key positions in the next administration, policy proposals, and a plan to help with the transition process.
The goal is to make sure that Trump can hit the ground running and avoid obstacles when he takes office in 2025.
The Deep State fought against Trump and his agenda tooth and nail during his first term.
Clearing these rogue actors out and building a conservative administration around the next President would go a long way toward ensuring that a potential second term for Trump would be a massive success.
