Donald Trump was grinning from ear to ear when he heard two words about Fani Willis

Everything is going wrong these days for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Her witch hunt against Donald Trump is on the verge of collapsing because of her scandals.

And Donald Trump was grinning from ear to ear when he heard two words about Fani Willis.

The RICO case against former President Donald Trump and 14 of his associates in Fulton County, Georgia, for challenging the state’s 2020 election results has become a circus.

Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis is facing disqualification from the case over appointing her lover, Nathan Wade, as a special prosecutor.

She stands accused of being involved in a kickback scheme where she paid Wade for his work as special prosecutor, and he used that money to pay for the pair to take extravagant vacations.

Willis unexpectedly took the stand in her disqualification hearing before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, which became a spectacle marked by angry outbursts.

Fulton County criminal case against Donald Trump has turned into the Jerry Springer show

During an appearance on The Ingraham Angle, Chris Landau – a former clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas – said that the Fulton County case had turned into an episode of the raunchy reality show hosted by the late Jerry Springer

“This is The Jerry Springer Show, okay?” Landau told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “This is not normal that we have these local DAs prosecuting, bringing criminal charges against the leading candidate for President. I mean, this has gone off the rails.”

Fellow guest Mike Davis – the founder of the Article 3 Project – pointed out the serious allegations against Willis.

“Remember what the allegations are here: That Fani Willis illegally hired her secret boyfriend, she paid him $250 an hour and she took illegal kickbacks, and so she had a financial interest in this criminal prosecution, which is absolutely illegal as any lawyer would know,” Davis said.

Eyebrows were raised when she paid Wade a rate of $250 an hour at the same time John Floyd – a RICO expert – was only paid $200 an hour and started at $150 an hour.

Wade had never tried a felony case and spent most of his professional career in private practice when Willis hired him one day after he filed for divorce from his wife.

The decision to prosecute Trump became a lucrative one after she hired her secret lover to work for her on the case.

“The specific question for the judge is should, Willis, Fani Willis, be disqualified from the case and, if so, what happens to the case?” Landau said. “Is the taint from her involvement so significant that the entire case has to be dismissed? As Mike just said, there’s a very strong argument that she had a financial motive to bring this sprawling case so that she could get kickbacks from her secret lover.”

Willis was dealt a devastating setback when her former close friend, Robin Bryant-Yeartie, testified in the disqualification hearing that she and Wade began their romantic relationship in 2019.

That contradicts Willis’ claim that she and Wade weren’t in a relationship when she hired him in 2021.

The Fulton County criminal charges against Donald Trump could collapse because of the corruption scandal that’s turned the case into a spectacle straight out of a reality television show.
