Elon Musk is about to make one major blue state cry with his next big business move

Feb 13, 2024

Democrats refuse to learn their lesson about what happens when they weaponize the government against Americans.

But this time Democrats bit off a lot more than they can chew.

And Elon Musk is about to make one major blue state cry with his next big business move.

Weaponizing the government

It’s clear that our nation’s social compact is over.

Back in the day, there wasn’t much of a difference between Democrats and Republicans, as both parties generally got along with each other.

People in the city and the country could come together for the common good, no matter how much they disagreed on issues like the tax rate.

And when Republicans or Democrats were in charge of Washington, D.C., the other political party wasn’t terrified of being targeted by the state.

But now America is more divided than ever.

Not only can we not agree to disagree on the issues, but Democrats are also starting to use the government to openly target hard-working Americans.

Just look at the January 6 riot at the Capitol.

Of course, a handful of people deserved to be punished for what they did on that day.

But over four hundred Americans have been tossed in jail on trumped up charges like trespassing, even though they were invited in by police through wide open doors.

Democrats keep attacking Americans with every weapon they have at their disposal because the average person has no real means to fight back.

The average American has lost so much influence, money, and power in our society that they are no real threat for Democrats.

But Elon Musk is not your average American.

Musk may make blue state Delaware pay

Last week, a court in Delaware voided a massive $56 billion compensation package from 2018 to Elon Musk through Tesla.

Delaware has the jurisdiction to hear the case against Elon Musk since Tesla is incorporated in the state.

“Was the richest person in the world overpaid?” the Judge wrote. “The stockholder plaintiff in this derivative lawsuit says so. He claims that Tesla, Inc.’s directors breached their fiduciary duties by awarding Elon Musk a performance-based equity-compensation plan.”

Does anyone really think this would happen to Elon Musk if he was your average mega rich Democrat donor?

Fortunately, Elon Musk has the money, and the fortitude, to fight back.

Elon dropped hints on X that he might move his corporation of Tesla from Delaware to the conservative green pastures of Texas.

After posting a poll asking his followers if Tesla should switch its state of incorporation to Texas, Elon tweeted out that “the public vote is unequivocally in favor of Texas!  Tesla will move immediately to hold a shareholder vote to transfer the state of incorporation to Texas.”

This might not seem like much, but keep in mind that nearly 20 percent of Delaware’s revenue comes from the franchise tax it gets from companies that flock to the state with its favorable corporate laws.

Delaware will pay a hefty price if Elon Musk starts a trend of conservative business owners leaving the deep blue state.
