Fani Willis refused to answer one question in court that turned everything upside down

May 10, 2024

Fani Willis is hiding something bad.

That’s the only logical conclusion Americans can come to.

And that’s because Fani Willis refused to answer one question in court that turned everything upside down.

Fani Willis refuses to answer open records request

The watchdog group Judicial Watch launched an investigation into coordination between Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, the January 6 Committee, and Special Counsel Jack Smith.

All three entities launched witch hunts against Donald Trump for challenging the results of the 2020 election.

The January 6 Committee recommended criminal charges against Trump.

Smith and Willis followed through with sham indictments for fake crimes based on bogus legal theories.

It sure looked like Smith, Willis, and the January 6 Committee set up a triangulated field of fire to make sure Trump went down on some kind of farcical criminal charge.

Judicial Watch aimed to get to the bottom of this mystery through a public records lawsuit.

Willis refused to answer.

But Judicial Watch demanded the Superior Court of Fulton County declare a default judgment against Willis.

“Judicial Watch announced today that it asked the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, to declare a default judgment against District Attorney Fani Willis in Judicial Watch’s lawsuit seeking records of communications Willis had with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee,” a press release from Judicial Watch read.

“Defendant has not filed an answer and no answer has been served upon [Judicial Watch]. Defendant’s answer was due 30 days after service, or on April 10, 2024. Pursuant to [Georgia law] the case automatically became in default when an answer was not filed by the due date. Further pursuant to that Code section, Defendant was permitted as a matter of right to open the default within 15 days of the day of default, or by April 25, 2024,” the lawsuit read.

What the lawsuit is after

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton explained that he’s never seen stonewalling like this from a public official before.

“I think this is the first time in Judicial Watch’s 30 years that a government official failed to answer an open records lawsuit in court,” Fitton declared. “This further shows Ms. Willis has something to hide about her collusion with the Biden administration and Nancy Pelosi’s Congress on her unprecedented and compromised ‘get-Trump’ prosecution.”

Willis may have a lot to hide.

In October, ABC News reported that former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows testified before a grand jury that Smith convened in the January 6 case.

ABC reported that Smith granted Meadows immunity for his testimony.

“Former President Donald Trump’s final chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, has spoken with Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team at least three times this year, including once before a federal grand jury, which came only after Smith granted Meadows immunity to testify under oath, according to sources familiar with the matter,” ABC reported.

The immunity detail was critical, as Willis indicted Meadows along with Trump in her sham RICO case in Georgia.

Anything Meadows testified about in the federal January 6 case could be used against him in Georgia.

But it won’t be because of the immunity deal.

That smells like coordination between Willis and Smith.

Willis also got a boost in the early days of her witch hunt from the January 6 Committee.

“Committee staff quietly met with lawyers and agents working for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in mid-April 2022, just as she prepared to convene a special grand jury investigation. In the previously unreported meeting, the January 6 Committee aides let the district attorney’s team review — but not keep — a limited set of evidence they had gathered,” POLITICO reported on January 10, 2024.

If Willis has nothing to hide, then she would answer Judicial Watch’s lawsuit.

But the facts of this case suggest high levels of coordination on what is clearly a politically motivated indictment.
