The 2024 Presidential election is going to be a knock-down-drag-out fight.
A spoiler candidate could tip key battleground states to Donald Trump.
And Hillary Clinton was pulling her hair out after she heard this 2024 announcement.
Discontent is setting among Democrats about having President Joe Biden leading the Party at the top of the ticket next year.
Poll after poll shows that the overwhelming majority of Democrat voters want someone other than Biden to be their nominee.
Disgruntled Democrat voters will have another choice at the ballot box next year.
Jill Stein launched a bid for the Green Party’s Presidential nomination.
She previously served as the Green Party’s Presidential candidate in the 2012 and 2016 elections.
Stein said that she’s running on a far-left platform of instituting the Green New Deal and an Economic Bill of Rights.
“To reverse surging inequality, we need an Economic Bill of Rights including the right to a living-wage job, housing, food, healthcare, education, and more, to guarantee all of us the basic security for a good life,” Stein said. “We need a Green New Deal with massive investment in green jobs and technologies to revitalize the American economy, improve our lives, protect our planet, and safeguard our children’s future.”
She slammed both major political parties in her announcement video by claiming that they’re bought and paid for by Wall Street.
“We need real choices on the ballot because without freedom of choice in elections, there is no democracy,” Stein said. “The political system is broken. The two Wall Street parties are bought and paid for. Over 60 percent of us now say the bipartisan establishment has failed us, and we need a party that serves the people.”
She added that the public is “tired of living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to pay the rent, locked in student debt and medical debt, child poverty doubling, rising diseases of despair, growing hopelessness.”
Jill Stein’s entry into the 2024 Election adds to Joe Biden’s growing list of problems
Stein is blamed by many Democrats for costing Hillary Clinton the 2016 Presidential election when she received 1.07% of the popular vote.
Her presence likely cost Clinton votes in battleground states like Michigan that came down to wire.
Stein could be a potential option at the ballot box for Democrat voters who are upset at Biden.
She joins a growing field of Independent and third-party candidates that could play the role of spoiler in 2024.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the heir to the Kennedy political dynasty, and far-left academic Cornel West have launched Presidential bids as Independents.
Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) fueled speculation that he could run as a third-party Presidential candidate when he announced he wasn’t running for reelection in 2024.
The West Virginia lawmaker said he was going to travel the country to see if there’s interest in mobilizing moderate voters.
Manchin has been connected to No Labels, a centrist group looking to recruit a Presidential candidate.
The growing number of left-wing political candidates could siphon votes from Joe Biden in close battleground states and tip the election to Donald Trump.
