To the radical Left, there is no room for disagreement on any of their socialist agenda.
That is certainly true in Hollywood where most conservative-leaning actors just stay quiet.
But Hollywood icon James Woods just laid the smackdown on the radical leftists who are out to destroy him.
There are very few conservatives left in Hollywood.
And even fewer who will admit it publicly.
The leftists who have taken over the TV and film industry have attempted to ruin the careers of anyone who dare challenge their socialist agenda.
There are few John Wayne’s left in Hollywood
This is a complete change from the Hollywood of the 1930s, ‘40s, ‘50s, and even ‘60s and early ‘70s.
At that time, you had a large number of actors, writers, producers, directors, and studio heads who were proud conservatives.
Most everyone knows the story of Ronald Reagan.
And many know of leading conservative voices like John Wayne, who never backed down from his pro-American conservative views.
And there were dozens and dozens more who proudly defended their conservative views without fear of reprisals by the Left.
Now there are very few John Wayne’s left in Hollywood as the leftists have managed to purge or at least silence the few who remain.
But there are some who remind us of those better days in Hollywood.
Actors like James Woods come to mind.
“Scratch a liberal and you will find a fascist every time”
Woods has a long and storied career in Hollywood.
And he’s also been an unabashed conservative voice in the wilderness that is “tinseltown.”
That has left him the target of leftist assaults and a determined effort to destroy his career.
Recently, Woods talked to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson about this.
Woods opened up about the radical Left’s concerted efforts to destroy his acting career and promised he will fight back against the people who took his livelihood from him.
The actor also confirmed the existence of a present-day Hollywood blacklist, saying directors deliberately refuse to hire actors who show any deviation from the leftist agenda.
“I’ve been a target of these people for six years,” the actor told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. “They have destroyed my career. They have destroyed my livelihood. They’ve destroyed my faith in a country that my family has defended in the military since the Revolutionary War.”
“Scratch a liberal and you will find a fascist every time,” Woods said, repeating a line from a tweet he made famous.
“These Democrats — and now I can say it because they are now my enemy — they declared this, not me. But when they go around calling everybody, ‘Oh this one’s a fascist’ and so on — you know who the fascists are? ‘Scratch a liberal and you will find a fascist every time.’ Every time.”
These people are vermin
Woods’ interview with Tucker Carlson came right after the first Twitter “document dump.”
The main purpose of the release of Twitter internal documents was to show how Twitter worked with the FBI to illegally influence the 2020 elections.
But included in the first release was a document showing that the Democrat National Committee pressured Twitter to censor Woods in the weeks leading up to the 2020 Presidential election.
“I’m hardly recognizable anymore because my career has been destroyed by these very people,” Woods said.
Woods continued, “It’s a big price to pay. It’s not a lot of fun. I loved my career for 50 years. I was happy to be an award-winning and honored and appreciated actor. And I miss my career and these people took it from me. And they’ll pay a price later in my life, but I have to say, I am not going to take it sitting down. I think these people are vermin for doing this to other people.”
