This was the day Joe Biden was dreading.
Naturally it involved a Hunter Biden scandal.
And Hunter Biden made one confession about his laptop that just wrecked Joe Biden.
During the 2020 Presidential campaign Joe Biden claimed during the final Presidential debate that the New York Post’s story about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.
The media eagerly repeated this lie.
Twitter and Facebook seized on the falsehood to censor the story.
27 months later, Hunter Biden finally came clean and admitted the laptop was his and all the incriminating emails on there were authentic.
Biden did so in a letter from his attorney to Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings, federal prosecutors, and the IRS, demanding investigations into the computer repair shop owner who turned the laptop over to Rudy Giuliani, a nonprofit that published the contents, and other Trump associates who tried to expose the truth about Biden family corruption.
“This failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden’s private and personal information,” Hunter Biden’s attorney Abe Lowell wrote.
“Mr. Mac Isaac’s intentional, reckless, and unlawful conduct allowed for hundreds of gigabytes of Mr. Biden’s personal data, without any discretion, to be circulated around the Internet,” Lowell wrote of computer repair shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac.
Lowell’s letter listed a number of other figures he demanded Joe Biden’s prosecutors and the IRS investigate.
“We believe that the facts and circumstances merit further investigation as to whether the conduct of Messrs. Mac Isaac, Costello, Giuliani, Bannon, Ziegler, Maxey, and Apelbaum violated several provisions of Delaware’s criminal code – including, but not necessarily limited to, computer-related property offenses . . . theft . . . possession of stolen property . . . and misapplication of another’s property . . . Each of these offenses, if violated, has the potential to be a felony, depending on the value of the property in question,” Lowell added.
Zeigler published the laptop’s contents on his Marco Polo website and ridiculed Hunter Biden’s threats as empty.
“With respect to the letters from the President’s son pleading with his daddy’s agencies to target those who expose his blatant criminality, Kevin Morris did not get a lot of bang for his buck,” Ziegler said in an interview with the New York Post.
Kevin Morris is a Biden family fixer who allegedly lent Hunter Biden $2 million to help pay off delinquent federal taxes to help Biden stave off criminal charges.
“You’d think that Morris would spend $1,400+/hour on an actual tax attorney when funding Hunter’s legal misadventures, which Abe Lowell is not,” Ziegler added.
“The letter to the IRS about Marco Polo is full of speculations and basic misunderstandings about the case law surrounding 501(c)(3) organizations. Hopefully, federal and state investigators will see this for what it is: a desperate attempt by Hunter and his family to get the attention off of their crimes,” Ziegler continued.
Now that Hunter Biden admitted the laptop was his and it was real, the media and Democrats will have to grapple with the fact that the contents of the laptop – and the evidence of potential criminal violations it contains – are real as well.
