Jeffrey Epstein attempted to blackmail Bill Gates over this sordid affair

May 25, 2023

Even though Jeffrey Epstein “killed himself” almost 4 years ago, his infamous name lives on to this day.

But so does the fallout from his sex ring.

And Jeffrey Epstein attempted to blackmail Bill Gates over this sordid affair.

In what is still an unfolding scandal, it’s been revealed that billionaire Jeffrey Epstein attempted to blackmail Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates over a secret affair with a young Russian bridge player named Mila Antonova.

According to The Wall Street Journal, these allegations come from sources closely tied to the situation.

Epstein found out

Gates reportedly met Mila Antonova in 2010 when she was in her 20s.

According to sources, the two then began a secret romance, all while Gates was still married to his then-wife Melinda.

Supposedly, Epstein learned about the affair in 2013 after he funded Antonova’s education at a software coding school.

Epstein used his leverage over Gates more openly in 2017 when he tried to pressure him to establish a multi-billion-dollar charitable fund with JPMorgan Chase.

In an email to Gates, Epstein demanded reimbursement for Antonova’s coding school fees and hinted that he could and would reveal his affair with Antonova if he did not maintain their business association.

This ploy did not pay off for Epstein, as Gates chose not to become involved in the proposed charitable fund.

“Mr. Gates met with Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr. Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr. Gates,” a spokeswoman for Gates told The Wall Street Journal.

Ignorance is bliss

A well-known Russian bridge player, Antonova has refused to make any comments about Gates, their relationship, or any hint of blackmail attempts.

As for Epstein, it seems Antonova was completely clueless of who Epstein was.

“I had no idea that he was a criminal or had any ulterior motive,” Antonova said. “I just thought he was a successful businessman and wanted to help.”

What we do know is that Gates met Antonova in 2010 when the two of them were playing in a tournament together after she moved to the Bay Area for her job as a software engineer.
In the past, Antonova acknowledged that she was friends with Gates.

But she refused to discuss the alleged romance since Gates was still married to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates.

Epstein met Antonova while she was looking for financial backers to launch a bridge academy and later paid for her to attend the software coding school.

Gates has regrets

Gates, 67, has admitted to having several private meetings with Epstein several years ago.

And the tech billionaire has expressed regret for these meetings, which took place after Epstein’s 2008 conviction in Florida on charges of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution.

But Gates claims that he only met with Epstein as part of efforts to raise money for his Foundation.

“Mr. Gates met with Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr. Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr. Gates,” a spokesperson for Gates said.

The spokesperson also said that Gates never paid up over the blackmail threat and once again claimed he had “no financial dealings” with Epstein.

“I am disgusted with Epstein and what he did,” Antonova said, while still declining to comment on her alleged affair with Gates.
