Joe Biden tried to deny the reality of the situation.
That’s not possible anymore.
And Joe Biden had to do a double take when this tragic news fell right in his lap.
A jaw-dropping set of New York Times/Siena poll numbers out of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin showed Trump leading Biden in five of those critical battlegrounds.
Based on the results of the New York Times/Siena swing state polls, Trump would thump Biden by winning more than 300 electoral college votes.
These had Democrats slamming the panic button, with former Obama chief strategist David Axelrod going so far as to say Joe Biden should strongly consider dropping out of the race.
“Only @JoeBiden can make this decision. If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?” Axelrod wrote on social media in response to the Times/Siena polls.
When Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Biden about the Times/Siena surveys showing him trailing Trump, he snapped that Doocy should look at other polls.

But other polls provide no comfort for Joe Biden.
Bloomberg and Morning Consult surveyed the six battlegrounds that Times/Siena polled – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – as well as North Carolina.
And the only difference was that Bloomberg/Morning Consult found Trump leading in every state, as opposed to all but one.

Joe Biden is unpopular because the public views him as an old, decrepit failure who let inflation run wild, illegal aliens pour into the country, and the globe edge towards the brink of World War because of his disastrous boondoggle in Ukraine.
