The FBI’s unannounced raid last August on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home over allegedly taking classified documents from the White House was a watershed moment.
Third-world-style politics came to America with the Justice Department being weaponized to try and take out the top political opponent of President Joe Biden.
Biden regime officials claimed they were “stunned” by news of the raid.
Despite this obvious abuse of power, regime officials claimed that they or the President played no role in the bogus investigation into Trump.
The regime wanted it to appear that their hands were clean of any involvement in the case.
Bombshell evidence was uncovered that blows the lid off of that lie.
Biden regime officials were directly involved in the Mar-a-Lago raid
America First Legal is a watchdog group created by former officials who served in the Trump administration.
They used a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to obtain documents from the federal government about the Mar-a-Lago raid.
The documents uncovered by America First Legal found that the FBI originally received access to Trump’s records at Mar-a-Lago from a “special access request” made by the Biden regime.
The National Archives, which oversees Presidential records, claimed that they had no involvement in the Justice Department’s investigation.
They’ve used the claim to avoid questions from Congressional Republicans about the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Last April, the National Archives received a request from the White House to grant the FBI special access to 15 boxes of documents that Trump’s legal team had returned to the agency.
According to a letter from the National Archives to a Trump attorney, some of the boxes of documents allegedly contained classified documents.
“The special access statute authorizes special access requests to an incumbent President only when the records in question are needed for ‘the conduct of current business’ of the White House. Providing documents to the DOJ for purposes of a criminal investigation is not the ‘current business’ of the White House,” America First Legal wrote.
The illegal special access request from the Biden regime could have set in motion the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
The regime cooked up a reason to give the FBI access to Trump’s documents for their investigation and the National Archives went along with it.
Reed Rubinstein, America First Legal senior counselor and director of oversight and investigations, said this bombshell news confirmed that Biden officials and the Justice Department abused their power.
“The evidence further suggests that Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people,” Rubinstein said. “This government, it seems, acknowledges no limits on its power to harass, intimidate, and silence its political opponents.”
Joe Biden’s henchmen were directly involved in aiding the FBI in their politically motivated investigation into Donald Trump.
