Joe Biden keeps finding himself deeper and deeper in scandals.
It’s getting worse for Biden as the evidence keeps pointing in his direction.
And Joe Biden will be petrified over what this whistleblower just revealed.
Attorney General Merrick Garland naming U.S. Attorney David Weiss as Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation vindicated the testimony of IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Zeigler.
Shapley testified that the Department of Justice interfered in the Biden investigation at every turn and even blocked Weiss from filing more serious felony charges in California and Washington, D.C.
Weiss also said in a meeting on October 7, 2022, that he lacked full charging authority in the case.
Democrats and the Biden administration blasted Shapley and Zeigler as liars.
But the Special Counsel announcement prompted Shapley to take a victory lap on CNN.
Shapley said that naming Weiss as Special Counsel proved everything he testified to in Congress was correct.
“So, the announcement today really vindicated Special Agent Ziegler and I coming forward. And — because some of these issues that were basically admitted to today were the crux of why we came forward. So, when Attorney General Garland comes today — comes forward today — and what he did is he admitted that the American people were misled by what the DOJ continually told them about this investigation,” Shapley began.
“So, if he has had charging authority, why does he need to be given this Special Counsel authority? And it’s just confusing,” Shapley added.
Attorney General Garland also disputed Shapley’s testimony under oath in front of Congress.
This decision showed that Garland misled Congress.
“[T]hen you have the June 7 letter, before our testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee was released, where United States Attorney Weiss says he has full authority. After our testimony is released and he realizes what was released by [the] House Ways and Means Committee, in the June 30 letter, he says, again, he has that full authority. But, in the next paragraph, he immediately says, but my authority is geographically limited to Delaware. And then he says, well, he has to partner — it’s departmental practice to partner with a U.S. attorney of venues elsewhere. And that’s what we’re really seeing here, we’re seeing a correction by the DOJ, because the statements that they have said all along are not consistent with the decision that was just made by Attorney General Garland, or he wouldn’t have had to make it,” Shapley concluded.
Naming Weiss as Special Counsel will not placate critics.
Weiss oversaw this whitewash in the first place and was the one who tried to give Hunter Biden a lifetime immunity from prosecution card in a sweetheart plea deal.
And now Garland could be facing more calls for his impeachment based on false testimony before Congress.
