Jon Tester is hiding his head in the sand after making these laughable remarks on national television

Aug 24, 2023

Even though the Presidential elections are well over a year away, the 2024 election cycle is as chaotic as ever.

Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump are facing major legal woes and many critics are questioning whether Joe Biden has the mental fitness to serve another four years.

And Jon Tester is hiding his head in the sand after making these laughable remarks on national television.

There is much more at stake next November than control of the White House

All the “mainstream” media wants to talk about are the ongoing legal woes facing both Donald Trump and Joe Biden, as well as the impact they may have on next year’s Presidential elections.

What the media often fails to mention is that control of the Senate is up for grabs and Democrats have an uphill battle if they hope to retain their majority.

As a result of the disastrous 2018 elections, Democrats have to effectively defend 23 seats, many of which are in so-called swing states and even a few Red states.

The Democrats will have a very difficult time holding on to seats in Ohio, West Virginia, and Montana.  They will also have competitive races in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona.

Senator Jon Tester of Montana is among those Democrats running for re-election in what many political experts believe to be a deep Red state.

Last Thursday, Senator Jon Tester appeared on MSNBC’s Chris Jansing Reports, where he shamelessly defended Joe Biden and his record since taking office.

“Joe Biden, when I’ve been around him — and it’s not every day — but when I’ve been around him, when I’ve seen him on the news, he’s absolutely 100% with it,” Tester said. “And he’s got — his recall, his cognitive ability, whatever you want to call it…he’s fine. And he’s doing a good job.”

“I think folks are making a bigger deal out of it than it is,” he added. “But, we’ll see what I’m like at 82. I doubt I’ll be running for President, let’s put it that way.”

Immediately following the interview, critics scratched their heads over this answer, believing that it will not do him much good when it comes to winning over Montana voters.

Who controls the Senate also controls the nation for at least the next two years

Any political expert will tell you that the United States Senate wields enormous power, and whoever controls the Senate effectively controls the nation.

Having said that, Senate elections often do not receive the media attention that Presidential races garner.

If Republicans can gain control of the Senate, then Joe Biden’s radical agenda will be slowed significantly.

Not only will Joe Biden have a much harder time nominating radical Democrats to positions of power, but his budget proposals and other actions will be effectively stonewalled.

Deplorable Daily will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.
