Kellyanne Conway got insulted live on the air by this Fox News star

Kellyanne Conway couldn’t believe she received such treatment on Fox News.

Conway was visibly taken aback.

And Kellyanne Conway got insulted live on the air by this Fox News star.

Debate over Trump’s economic speech turns heated

Donald Trump delivered a major economic address in Georgia.

Trump sought to draw a contrast between his willingness to describe in detail his America First agenda and Kamala Harris’ handlers not allowing her to discuss policy because of all the radical positions – support for banning fracking, eliminating private health insurance, restricting meat consumption – that Kamala adopted when she ran for President in 2020.

On Fox News, Conway praised Trump’s speech, arguing that Trump “got very granular,” adding that it offered a direct challenge to Kamala Harris to “stop talking in generics and be more granular.”

Conway’s fellow Fox News panelist and liberal commentator, Juan Williams, predictably attacked the speech, falsely claiming that Trump’s America first policies hurt the economy.

“We have tried some of this before under President Trump, and the trade war’s had a terrible effect on manufacturing here in the United States. It went to its lowest level under the Trump administration in the past,” Williams began.

Williams then turned to Conway and accused her of dishonestly describing Trump’s speech.

“Kellyanne said he got granular. I’m still waiting for the grain here, the granular pieces . . . To me, this was a speech in which he is trying to set out new policies, I guess. And Harris is narrowing the gap in terms of people saying, who’s doing a better job, he would do a better job on the economy. But all I heard from him was attacks on Harris . . .” Williams continued.

“All I heard from him was attacks on Harris, ‘Comrade Kamala.’ For an hour and a half, ‘Kamala is a communist,’” Willams added.

Kellyanne Conway debunks Williams line of attack

Conway couldn’t believe what she was hearing and noted that Williams had the text of the speech in front of him.

“Please! Come on! In an hour and a half, Juan? Come on. You have the text in front of you. Don’t say that,” Conway exclaimed.

In fact, it was Williams who was attempting to mislead viewers about the contents of Trump’s speech.

Trump outlined his policy to use a combination of tariffs and tax cuts to spur manufacturing jobs in America.

Companies that close factories in America and move production to countries like Mexico will face stiff tariffs on their goods under a second Trump administration.

Trump added that his administration would work with Congress to pass a new round of tax cuts that lower the corporate rate to 15 percent for companies that manufacture their products in America.

“Now we’re cutting the business tax from 21% to 15%, which makes us the most competitive tax anywhere in the planet, but only for those who make their product in the USA,” Trump told the crowd. “At 21 we were pretty good. At 15, we’re the most competitive. People are going to be pouring in, companies are going to be pouring in.”
