Laura Ingraham was shocked that this scheme by Kamala Harris failed miserably

The media claims that Kamala Harris is running the best Presidential campaign in history.

But she isn’t making all the right moves.

And Laura Ingraham was shocked that this scheme by Kamala Harris failed miserably.

Kamala Harris’ extreme political makeover is failing

Vice President Kamala Harris spent her political career on the far Left of the Democrat Party.

She was one of the sponsors of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Coretz’s (D-NY) $90 trillion Green New Deal in the Senate.

Kamala ran for the Democrat Presidential nomination competing with U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to be the most extreme.

She supported banning fracking, decriminalizing illegal border crossing, paying for transgender surgeries for illegal aliens, banning gas-powered vehicles, and mass gun confiscation.

When Kamala was parachuted in to replace President Joe Biden as the Democrat Presidential nominee, she needed to rebrand herself in a hurry.

A socialist San Francisco Democrat wouldn’t be competitive in the swing states.

Her campaign began issuing anonymous statements that claimed she no longer supported many of the far-left positions she embraced in the past.

Kamala’s rhetoric she read from her teleprompter was designed to make her sound more moderate.

She enjoyed a surge in the polls after she entered the race, but now it appears the honeymoon is coming to an end for her campaign.

Warning sign flashing red for Kamala

Fox News host Laura Ingraham had Republican pollster Matt Towery as a guest on her show.

He said that Kamala’s scheme to rebrand herself wasn’t working, as evidenced by the latest New York Times/Siena poll.

47% of voters saw Kamala as too left-wing in that poll, while only 32% thought former President Donald Trump was too conservative.

Towery said the race was resetting to where it was polling-wise before President Joe Biden botched the June debate.

“It’s not working,” Towery said. “What’s interesting is the battleground polls that I do are showing the same thing you’re seeing in this New York Times poll, and that is the numbers that Trump had when Biden was in the race are beginning to come back to Trump at about the same levels as before Harris became the nominee or the designated nominee.”

Towery said that Kamala’s initial surge in polling was starting to fade and that Trump was regaining momentum.

“So you’re seeing a complete return to where Trump was before, whatever bounce was there is disappearing,” Towery said.

He predicted that the media would try to generate some momentum for her out of the first Presidential debate.

“Donald Trump has come on the upswing, she’s on the downswing, and Nate Silver is right,” Towery explained. “He would carry those battleground states right now as they’re correlated to where they were back in the Biden 2020 race against Trump.”

Democrat data guru Nate Silver said that the race had shifted in Trump’s favor.

The New York Times poll found that Trump was leading Kamala 48% to 47%.

Kamala had a hot start out of the gates, but the political wind is starting to blow the other direction as the race heads into the home stretch.
