Megyn Kelly blasts Disney’s latest show as nothing but “absolute filth”

Feb 10, 2023

Walt Disney would be turning over in his grave if he could see what has become of the company he built from the ground up.

Disney can’t seem to keep its tail out of political controversy these days.

And now Megyn Kelly is putting the House of Mouse on blast for its latest propaganda piece masquerading as children’s programming.

Disney gets louder and prouder

Disney Corporation is in a rapid state of decline of its own making.

It’s facing boycotts, falling stock prices, and even had to replace its top executive.

All of this comes as the company continues replacing iconic movies and shows with woke propaganda and Democrat Party talking points.

And despite it killing the bottom line, Disney is showing no sign of slowing down its leftist indoctrination.

Just two episodes in on a reboot of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, exclusive on Disney+, has renewed talks of boycotting the mouse.

In fact, Megyn Kelly went as far as calling the program, “absolute filth.”

Megyn Kelly vs. Disney

“This is a reflection of what our culture has become, a big bunch of grievance-mongering whiners . . . ‘America sucks because of this, it sucks because of that,’” Kelly said on her podcast. “This is absolute filth.”

In the show’s Juneteenth episode, viewers are treated to a lecture about Critical Race Theory, calls for reparations for black families and revisionist history that America was founded on slavery.

“This country was built on slavery — which means slaves built this country,” a character on The Proud Family says. “We the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering . . . and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.”

Rewriting American history

This radical talking point has been made popular by the 1619 Project.

The 1619 Project NGO was started by former New York Times author/activist Nicole Hannah-Jones, who may be best known for suing colleges for not giving her honorary tenured professorships.

Hannah-Jones’ writing is filled with hatred toward white people, even her mother’s side of her family – which is all white.

The basic premise of the revisionist telling of American history starts with the false notion that the country was founded in 1619 – when the first slaves arrived – not in 1776 with the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

A 6-part documentary on the 1619 Project and its American-hating rewriting of history is available on HULU – which is partially owned by Disney.

Child indoctrination everywhere

“They’re trying to make these children hate America,” Kelly said of Disney. “Just the racism of it. This is a channel that’s supposed to appeal, I guess, to black families. What black families? Do they assume all black families hate America and wanna demand reparations and say we haven’t gotten past slavery? Who are the black families they’re hanging out with?”

Kelly believes Big Media is working in tandem with Big Ed to give children a warped perspective of their country.

And she says, Disney+’s The Proud Family is just the latest example of the problem.

“The anger that they put in the mouths of these little kids . . . meanwhile, as if any little kid is walking around America today, saying, ‘we want reparations,” Kelly said. “They’re trying to plant these ideas early.”
