Megyn Kelly had one suggestion for Elon Musk that will make your imagination run wild

Megyn Kelly’s star continues to rise.

Kelly knows how to take advantage of her growing power and influence.

And Megyn Kelly had one suggestion for Elon Musk that will make your imagination run wild.

Megyn Kelly wants to see Elon Musk’s DOGE slash taxpayer funding for NPR

Taxpayer funding for National Public Radio (NPR) has long been a bugaboo for many on the Right.

Conservatives continue to question why the government funds a media outlet that is essentially a Democrat Party Super PAC.

Kelly raised this issue again on her podcast, noting that NPR rakes in nearly $100 million a year in taxpayer funding to produce stories that falsely claim men can get periods.

“NPR gets almost $100 million of taxpayer money a year, $91 million. That’s crazy. Armani was out on X yesterday calling attention to a segment he had just listened to where they were saying, women are not the only ones who get periods,” Kelly began.

Kelly explained that stories like that aren’t news and that taxpayers have no business funding such nonsense, before saying her staff prepared other even more egregious examples of NPR passing off left-wing propaganda as news.

“I don’t wish to fund that. I don’t wish to fund that message. It is not objective and it is not truthful. And our team put together some examples of our own on NPR’s reporting that all of us are paying for. Watch,” Kelly added.

Kelly referenced the cult classic 1991 film, Edward Scissorhands, to explain what she would like to see Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency do to taxpayer funding for NPR.

“I want to see Edward Scissorhands,” Kelly declared. “That’s who I want to see go in and take care of NPR and the like . . . It’s a disgusting journalistic outlet. It’s just propaganda, and that’s fine if you want to label yourself that and just come out openly as left-wing, great, do it,” Kelly continued.

Kelly said if NPR just wanted to produce left-wing agitprop, they should go out in the market and see if there is an audience that will sustain such programming, adding that Democrats are all asking each other why there isn’t a Joe Rogan of the Left.

“There’s, a market for you. The Left is begging for that kind of crap right now. They’re pretending that they don’t have any outlets, that they’re all right-wing podcasts that control the world,” Kelly remarked.

Kelly then read off some NPR headlines that show just how far in the tank the station is for the Left.

Their headline of Donald Trump announcing his re-election campaign read like a comic book description of a supervillain.

“Breaking: Donald Trump, who tried to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election and inspired a deadly riot at the Capitol in a desperate attempt to keep himself in power, has filed to run for president again in 2024,” the NPR headline read.

Kelly expressed disbelief at the NPR headline for the guilty verdict against the illegal alien convicted of killing Laken Riley.

“A man has been convicted of murder in the killing of Laken Riley,” the headline read.

“Just a man,” Kelly remarked, noting that the headline omitted any reference to the fact that an illegal alien Kamala Harris let into the country murdered Riley.

If there was ever a political environment to defund NPR, now is the time.

Kelly wants Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to take the lead.
