Megyn Kelly just teased that Donald Trump is about to make one shocking 2024 announcement

Donald Trump still possesses the capacity to pull off the unexpected.

That ability confounds his opponents and delights his supporters.

And Megyn Kelly just teased that Donald Trump is about to make one shocking 2024 announcement.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) and its Chairwoman, Ronna McDaniels, faced growing criticism over the decision to allow NBC News to televise a GOP Presidential debate where left-wing activists Lester Holt and Kristen Welker moderated the affair.

Welker and Holt made sure they didn’t ask questions about Joe Biden’s biggest political vulnerabilities – the border and inflation – until well over an hour into the debate.

After GOP Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy kicked off the debate by calling on McDaniel to resign, a growing movement built in the conservative grassroots to dump her over the Party’s failure to win elections on her watch.

McDaniel responded to this scrutiny by announcing that the fourth debate would be televised by NewsNation – an upstart cable news network whose mission is balanced coverage – and that Megyn Kelly and Eliana Johnson, the editor-in-chief of the conservative Washington Free Beacon, would co-moderate the debate with NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas.

Fair moderators and a neutral broadcast partner may lead to the one thing the debates lacked so far – participation from the frontrunner.

TMZ reported that the Secret Service scoped out the debate venue at the University of Alabama as a hint that Donald Trump may be reconsidering his decision to skip the GOP debates due to his massive lead in the polls.

“Donald Trump may be thinking about going head-to-head with the other Republicans who are challenging him for the Presidential nomination because we’ve learned the Secret Service has already scoped out the venue,” TMZ reported.

“The next debate is scheduled for December 6 at the Moody Music Building Concert Hall at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The debate will be carried live on NewsNation. The network announced last Thursday it will host the debate, and sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … that same day Secret Service agents came to the venue and walked the premises … inside and out,” the TMZ report continued.

Megyn Kelly – who has her own well-documented history with Trump in debates – welcomed the idea that he would show up.

“This would be SPECTACULAR! Mr. President, you would be more than welcome and we would love to have you. Let’s give the people what they want – debate #4 on 12/6 airing on NewsNation,” Kelly wrote on social media.

The fourth GOP debate is just five weeks before the critical Iowa Caucuses.

And Trump could be considering showing up to deliver a knockout blow to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
