Trump posted the photo on X – the app formerly known as Twitter – and saw a massive $10 million surge in fundraising.
Polls taken after the mugshot’s release showed Trump leading Joe Biden.
One person who characteristically did not weigh in publicly was Melania Trump.
Melania Trump’s silence on the indictments led some in the press to speculate that she had moved on from her husband.
But that was just another media lie.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, Melania Trump thinks the indictments are every bit the politically motivated sham her husband does.
“Melania knows who her husband is, and while she deplores the indictments as much as her husband, she wouldn’t be surprised by his mugshot or make comments about it,” PEOPLE reported a source close to the Trump family told the outlet.
Much like during her time at the White House, Melania Trump preferred to hang back from the spotlight and instead focus on raising the couple’s son Barron.
“Melania is busy with her son and family, and she pays only so much attention to these issues which captivate the media,” a second source told PEOPLE.
The media has always been unfair to Melania.

Melania Trump clearly does not like being a public political figure.
