MSNBC already has big plans for John Fetterman’s career that will have you busting a gut

Nov 11, 2022

The 2022 Midterms were full of head-scratching moments.

Perhaps the biggest puzzler of all was Pennsylvania voters electing a man who can’t form or even comprehend complete sentences.

But MSNBC was so impressed by John Fetterman they’re ready to give him a huge promotion already.

Pennsylvania, the GOP’s elusive prize

Republicans have been trying to turn Pennsylvania into a red state for a few decades now.

It’s the giant, elusive prize that always seems so close for the GOP, but always remains just out of reach.

There have been victories, like Pat Toomey’s Senate runs, and Donald Trump’s triumph in 2016.

However, the Keystone State remains purple, and in a close election, Democrats almost always seem to wind up with just enough votes for the victory.

But when Democrats nominated Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, the door seemed open for the GOP.

Fetterman has a radical record, including, but not limited to, voting to free convicted rapists and murderers back on to Pennsylvania streets.

And Fetterman suffered a stroke just before primary day.

Due to the stroke, Fetterman was MIA on the campaign trail.

His absence raised questions about his mental and physical fitness to serve in the U.S. Senate.

Voters had been voting for weeks before they finally saw Fetterman come out of his house.

In fact, more than 500,000 Democrats had already cast their ballots when Fetterman had arguably the worst debate performance in U.S. political history.

Dr. Oz vs. John Fetterman

But Republicans had a problem.

Thanks largely to Donald Trump’s endorsement in the primaries, their U.S. Senate nominee in Pennsylvania was a carpetbagger from out of state, with a checkered history of promoting questionable health products and who came off as pompous and unlikeable – especially next to his opponent who goes to work in shorts and a hoodie.

And worse yet, Dr. Mehmet Oz is a very moderate Republican – with many GOP voters questioning if Dr. Oz was really a Republican at all.

Oz spent the majority of the general election campaign trying to convince his own base to show up and support him.

But Oz is a smart, hardworking, and successful man.

Those are three words few would ascribe to Fetterman.

So, when the dust settled and the smoke cleared in the Keystone State and Dr. Oz was calling to concede the race to his radical Democrat rival, it came as a shock to many.

Fetterman defeated Oz by 4 points, or close to 250,000 votes.

The Democrats’ public relations wing in the corporate-controlled press couldn’t hide their excitement for Fetterman’s victory – and even found the man who had to read interview questions from a monitor so impressive, they’re ready to give him a prominent promotion.

Fetterman for President?

MSNBC reporter Katy Tur thinks Fetterman could even be President Joe Biden’s successor saying she could see “Fetterman, as a nominee at some point for President.”

Host Andrea Mitchel was also quick to heap praise on the man who has never had a job outside of politics in his life.

“I spent a lot of time covering this race, and with Pennsylvania politics, going back some decades, and I started my career there, but the fact that John Fetterman did, first of all, so much better with white non-college-educated voters,” Mitchel said. “Better than Biden, better than Trump, so he ran ahead of both of them, but he also, you know, did fairly well in the cities.”

Comparing vote share for a Midterm Senate race to a Presidential election is like comparing apples and oranges.

As for MSNBC’s claim of Fetterman outperforming former President Donald Trump with working class whites – not so much.

In fact, Fetterman only won 11 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties, and each of those counties either have major metropolitan center or are suburbs of massive cities.

But if MSNBC wants Fetterman to replace Biden on top of the Democrats’ 2024 Presidential ticket, that just might be a trade many Republicans are willing to take.

Deplorable Daily will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.
