Nancy Mace’s vote for this bill forced this Georgia policeman out of a job

Feb 1, 2023

RINOs claimed they voted for this bill because it would not harm anyone.

They falsely claimed it strengthened religious freedom.

But now Nancy Mace’s vote for this bill forced this Georgia policeman out of a job.

The Washington, D.C. establishment insiders and GOP political consultants are wringing their hands trying to figure out what went wrong in 2022.

They can’t figure out why the big red wave everyone predicted never happened.

But the answer is staring them in the face, and it looks like South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace.

“Christians should not be fearful of this legislation”

The conservative Republican base, which makes up the largest block of voters for the GOP, are not happy.

Time and again Mitch McConnell and Senate RINOs sell out the American people and conservative principles.

And the House has its own gang of RINO traitors who do the same.

Take the grossly misnamed “Respect for Marriage Act,” which in fact destroys marriage.

So-called “Republican” Senator Todd Young (R-IN) wrote in defense of his support for the bill, “Christians should not be fearful of this legislation.”

He went on to claim brashly and without any evidence that the so-called “Respect for Marriage Act” offers “far more in the way of religious liberty protections than [we have now].”

That is why he and 11 other Senate Republicans voted for the bill.

Among those was North Carolina’s RINO-in-Chief Thom Tillis who also defended his vote for the anti-Christian legislation.

And on the House side, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) who has made a career out of turning on everyone in her orbit, especially the voters, led a group of 47 Republicans who voted for the bill.

Making prophets out of conservative critics

Now, Nancy Mace, Todd Young, Thom Tillis, and the other RINO turncoats have made prophets out of their conservative critics who warned that passing the anti-marriage bill would usher in a new wave of oppression against Christians.

In fact, Senator Tillis went so far as to insinuate there would be no fallout from his vote for same-sex marriage.

But now a young Georgia policeman who’s out of a job over his beliefs begs to disagree.

Jacob Kersey, was a 19-year-old rookie of the Port Wentworth, Georgia Police Department, until his supervisors decided his views on marriage were too “offensive.”

So, Nancy Mace, try telling Jacob that Christians don’t need to worry that these laws “will be used as a weapon to bludgeon them for their beliefs,” as Senator Young claimed.

Because this young man who’s now out of a job for his Christian faith won’t believe it.

And for Kersey, that oppression was swift, coming less than 24 hours after a Facebook post he put on his personal page.

Kersey wrote, “God designed marriage. Marriage refers to Christ and the church,” he explained in reference to in Ephesians 5. “That’s why there is no such thing as homosexual marriage.”

“Talking about natural marriage is the same as a racial slur”

The very next day, Kersey’s supervisor called to tell him someone had complained about the message.

Take it down, he was told.

Jacob refused.

For that, he was ordered into a meeting with three superiors, Major Lee Sherrod, Captain Nathan Jentzen, and Police Chief Matt Libby, and ordered to “turn in everything he had that belonged to the city.”

Chief Libby insisted that while officers are entitled to their own views, talking about natural marriage is the same as using a racial slur.

It’s like “saying the N-word or ‘F— all those homosexuals,’” the Chief falsely claimed.

So, despite the promise they said they saw in him as a police officer, the three men agreed Kersey would have to be placed on administrative leave while the city considered whether he could salvage his job.

Not very “tolerant” of them.

And this is the problem the GOP faces heading into 2024 – they are losing their base while they kneel in front of the radical leftist altar.

They will never learn it seems.
