The events of January 6, 2021 are back in the news.
But this time Democrats and Never-Trumpers aren’t celebrating.
And Nancy Pelosi and Liz Cheney are spitting mad over this latest poll about January 6.
A new poll shows a whopping 61% of Americans think federal agents likely helped provoke the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
Release the footage
Of course, most Democrat politicians and most of the left-wing media have labeled the events of January 6 as an “insurrection.”
The survey, conducted by Rasmussen Reports of 1,000 “U.S. likely voters,” also found overwhelming majorities are in favor of releasing all of the surveillance video footage from the events of that day.
This is after Nancy Pelosi’s sham committee released only partial portions of the video footage from January 6.
“Eighty-six percent (86%) of Republicans, 78% of Democrats, and 75% of voters not affiliated with either major party believe it is important that the public be able to view all the videos of the Capitol riot,” Rasmussen reported.
The poll found only 17% do not think it is important for the public to see all of the footage from January 6.
Last month, Gateway Pundit and other conservative social media accounts publicized some newly released footage showing police officers in Washington, D.C. firing stun guns at peaceful protesters at the Capitol.
Shortly after those videos surfaced, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy pledged to release the full 41,000 hours of surveillance video.
McCarthy turned over all of the footage to Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson and also made it available to the January 6 defendants.
An inside job
The Rasmussen poll also found “Sixty-one percent (61%) of voters believe it is likely that undercover government agents helped provoke the Capitol riot, including 39% who think it’s Very Likely. Thirty percent (30%) don’t think it’s likely undercover agents helped provoke the riot, including 18% who say it is Not At All Likely.”
The poll showed 70% of Republicans and 57% of Democrats and unaffiliated voters believe it is “at least somewhat likely that undercover government agents helped provoke the Capitol riot.”
Meanwhile, a new federal report just came out that “faulted a number of law enforcement agencies for allowing the riot to develop” on January 6.
Then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Leader Chuck Schumer both refused President Trump’s offer for extra security forces on January 6.
Other shocking and disturbing footage has also been seen on the already-released videos.
Several footage from that day shows Capitol Hill police officers holding the doors open for protestors to enter the building.
Some officers even took selfies with rally attendees.
However, none of these issues were even brought up during the January 6 Congressional “hearings.”
Some other surprising finds
The Rasmussen poll also asked other questions and found some interesting results.
“Voters under 40 are more likely than their elders to suspect the Capitol riot was provoked by undercover agents,” the poll found.
It also found that a clear majority of voters don’t think President Joe Biden “has kept his campaign promise to unite Americans.”
One-third of those polled support Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s recent call for a “national divorce” between Red states and Blue states.
And most voters give the federal government low ratings for its response to the train derailment and subsequent toxic spill in East Palestine, Ohio.
