The worm has turned in the Presidential election.
Democrats’ worst fears about Kamala Harris are coming true.
And Nancy Pelosi turned white as a ghost when asked this simple question about Kamala Harris.
The media is growing anxious about Kamala Harris
Members of the media are coming out of their honeymoon phase with Kamala Harris.
Polls show Kamala Harris failed to seal the deal at the debate and now Donald Trump has the momentum.
Quinnipiac’s national poll found Trump leading Kamala Harris 48 to 47 percent.
The New York Times/Siena polls of the Sun Belt battlegrounds Georgia, Arizona, and North Carolina had Trump leading in all three.
It’s beginning to dawn on members of the media why so many of them wanted Joe Biden to dump Kamala Harris as his running mate when the press all assumed Biden would be the one taking on Donald Trump.
Kamala Harris can’t speak coherently on how she would make the lives of the American people better and how she represents a break from Joe Biden’s failures.
When asked about how she would bring prices down, Kamala Harris can only answer that she grew up in a middle class family in a neighborhood where people cared about the condition of their lawns.
CNN’s liberal host Jake Tapper spoke to this growing anxiety in the press and asked Nancy Pelosi why Kamala Harris can’t provide more specifics about her agenda to reassure voters.
“Do you think she needs to be presenting more meat on the bones of, I get that she’s from a middle-class family, it’s great, and I get that she feels people’s pains, great, but what about like here are the five things I’m going to do directly for you. Does she need to be doing more of that?” Jake Tapper asked.
Nancy Pelosi takes evasive action
Pelosi never wanted Kamala Harris to be the nominee after she forced Biden out of the race.
And Pelosi’s response to Tapper’s question made it clear Kamala Harris was on her own on this one.
“Well, she’ll be doing some of that tomorrow once she’ll put forth her economic plan, but people like to have a connection to whoever is running for office, that they share their experience, that they understand their lives, and I think that’s what she is establishing, but I never give advice to presidential candidates,” Pelosi added.
Even though Nancy Pelosi publicly spent three weeks advising Joe Biden to come up with a different answer than “He wanted to carry on as the Democrat nominee,” Pelosi claimed she never gave any advice to Presidential candidates.
“The wisdom that they have, the astute political astuteness that they have to become the presidential candidate says they know something about the market out there, but I do think that the one issue in terms of the cost of living, people want to hear something very specific. She is saying that in that ad, but also tomorrow in her economic plan,” Pelosi added.
Pelosi knows a policy debate is disastrous for Kamala Harris.
But by avoiding Tapper’s question of how Kamala Harris can improve the lives of the American people, Pelosi is feeding into the growing doubt among voters that Kamala Harris is actually up for the job as President.
