Nikki Haley spoke with Sean Hannity but refused to answer one question about Donald Trump

Feb 17, 2023

Nikki Haley is the first Republican to challenge Donald Trump for the 2024 GOP Presidential nomination.

But Haley stumbled right out of the gate.

And Nikki Haley spoke with Sean Hannity but refused to answer one question about Donald Trump.

A right of passage for GOP Presidential contenders is an interview with Sean Hannity on the day they announce their candidacy.

Hannity is an establishment-friendly conservative who will give each Republican hopeful a fair shake and a platform to introduce themselves to millions of potential GOP Primary voters.

But RINO former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley flubbed her interview with Hannity and failed to clear a very low bar.

Since Haley is challenging Trump in a GOP Primary, it was only fair for Hannity to ask her where she drew a policy contrast with the former President.

“If you had to delineate where, say, you and President Trump differ on issues, where would you start?” Hannity wondered.

Haley responded by ducking the question and sticking to her talking point that it’s time for a new generation of leadership – an implied attack that Trump and Joe Biden are too old to be President.

“Look at everything that’s wrong in this country and tell me we don’t need new leadership,” Haley responded. “But the difference is we need new generational leadership. We have to leave the status quo. We have to leave this chaos behind and we’ve gotta start talking about the future.”

Hannity tried a second time to pin down Haley on where she disagreed with Donald Trump’s policy agenda.

“Let me go back to my original question because anybody that is looking or is seeking the nomination, you’re going to be comparing and contrasting your policy positions,” Hannity stated. “Where do you see – if you see – policy differences beyond what you mentioned, which are generational differences? What specific policy areas would you say are apart from Donald Trump?”

Haley dodged the question for a second time.

“What I am saying is I don’t kick sideways,” Haley answered. “I’m kicking forward. Joe Biden is the President. “He’s the one I’m running against.”

Haley does not want to answer this question for a very good reason.

That’s because Haley is a RINO from the Jeb Bush wing of the Party and her stated policy preferences would alienate the GOP base.

In 2016, Haley opposed legislation to stop biological males from sharing bathrooms with young girls.

Haley also opposed ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens and building a border wall.

And Haley supports Joe Biden’s blank check to send over $100 billion to secure Ukraine’s border while ignoring our own illegal immigration crisis.

If Haley explained to voters that she stands with Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Liz Cheney on the issues, she knows her campaign would end on the spot.
