One Judge hit Donald Trump with a big-time curveball about this criminal case

Donald Trump is fighting for his freedom as well as the Presidency inside a court of law.

Thanks to Joe Biden’s weaponized government, the law and the campaign trail are intertwined in this election.

And now one Judge hit Donald Trump with a big-time curveball about this criminal case.

Judge Aileen Cannon appears to be the only fair trial Judge Donald Trump has appeared in front of so far.

Trump’s lawyers sought to delay the Mar-a-Lago documents case, which Judge Cannon scheduled to start on May 20, 2024, due to the fact that Democrat Judge Tanya Chutkan agreed to Biden prosecutor Jack Smith’s rocket docket for the 2020 election case.

Judge Chutkan slated that trial to begin on March 4, 2024, and Smith anticipates it will take at least two months to complete.

Trump’s lawyers argued scheduling the two trials on top of one another made it impossible for them to prepare a proper legal defense for their client.

“It’s very difficult to be trying to work with a client in one trial and simultaneously try to prepare that client for another trial,” Trump lawyer Christopher Kise said. “This has been a struggle and a challenge.”

Judge Cannon appeared sympathetic to this reality in the hearing.

“I’m just having a hard time seeing how realistically this work can be accomplished in this compressed period of time, given the realities that we’re facing,” Judge Cannon told both parties.

Judge Cannon said she was considering making “reasonable adjustments” to the pretrial motion schedule.

Delaying pretrial motions will almost certainly push back the start of the documents case.

Smith’s prosecutors whined that any delay would “completely disrupt everything about the schedule your Honor set.”

The Biden prosecutors also dubiously claimed that the 2020 election case could get pushed back even though Democrat Judge Chutkan made it clear over and over again that she would not revisit the trial date since she understands her role is to help Joe Biden secure a conviction ahead of the General Election.

“The court really cannot let and should not let the D.C. trial drive the schedule here,” Biden prosecutor Jay Bratt stated. “We don’t know what is going to happen in this case. We don’t know what’s going to happen in the D.C. case. That trial could disappear.”

There is no compelling interest in holding this trial prior to the election.

Trump isn’t going anywhere.

The only interest served is by those in the Democrat Party who think campaigning against a convicted felon is Joe Biden’s only path to victory.
