One top Republican Governor just said three words about 2024 that left Liz Cheney and the RINO establishment devastated

The race for the 2024 Republican Presidential nomination is underway.

The Republican establishment is trying to take back control of the Party from Donald Trump.

And one top Republican Governor just said three words about 2024 that left Liz Cheney and the RINO establishment devastated.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is currently the only major candidate in the GOP Presidential field with former President Donald Trump.

The RINOs in the Republican establishment are looking for a candidate to back who they believe can take out Trump.

They’ve deluded themselves into thinking that an establishment-backed challenger could cost Trump the GOP nomination.

Former Wyoming RINO Congresswoman Liz Cheney was considering a Presidential run by laughably claiming she would do whatever it took to keep Trump from returning to the White House.

The establishment’s dreams were dashed when Cheney took a job as professor at the University of Virginia, which would seemingly preclude a Presidential bid.

All eyes turned to former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan as the leading candidate for the establishment lane in the GOP Primary.

Hogan is an outspoken critic of Trump and has been making all the moves a Presidential candidate would make before announcing their campaign.

He became a media darling from his frequent appearances in places like CNN where he bashed Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Republican establishment figures have touted Hogan as a potential savior for the Party after he won two terms in deep-Blue Maryland by rolling over to Democrats.

The entrance of the former Maryland Governor into the GOP Primary would give the RINOs a candidate to rally around in their quest to finally take down Trump.

Larry Hogan recognizes reality, won’t run for President against Trump

During an appearance on Face the Nation, Larry Hogan took everyone by surprise when he announced he “will not be” running for President against Trump.

“I did give it serious consideration, and I talked to people everywhere, and I talked to my family, and it was a tough decision, but I’ve decided that I will not be a candidate for the Republican nomination for President,” Hogan said.

Hogan traveled to Iowa and New Hampshire, the first two states on the GOP Presidential calendar, and attempted to build his public profile with national media appearances.

After seriously considering the idea of running for President, Hogan finally faced the reality that he stood no chance of even coming close to the nomination.

He admitted that Trump and DeSantis are the clear frontrunners and he was mired in the single digits in polling.

In Hogan’s home state of Maryland, a recent public poll found him lagging in third place in a GOP Primary and far behind DeSantis and Trump.

Instead of being utterly humiliated in state after state, he decided to save what’s left of his dignity.

Hogan claimed that Trump’s insults like “Shutdown RINO” did not deter him from running.

But he caved to teachers unions and was one of the last Governors to reopen public schools.

And now the Republican establishment will have to go back to the drawing board as they search for a RINO to challenge Donald Trump.
