The bad boy of the Royal Family just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
But he might be better off staying out of the press for good.
That’s because Prince Harry made a shocking claim about his wife Meghan that has the Royal Family up in arms.
Prince Harry is on a whirlwind media tour as part of the publicity effort to sell his new memoir Spare.
And if the response to his recent comments is any indicator, Harry is likely to sell a lot of books, but also become one of the most-hated men on the planet.
She’s black, in case you didn’t know
Harry’s latest mind-boggling comments came on Good Morning America.
In response to a question from co-host Michael Strahan Harry said, “[m]y wife is not visibly black but that’s who she is.”
That’s right.
Meghan Markle does not look black, but she is black.
Harry went on to claim that, even though she isn’t visibly black, the “way that [the media] speaks about her, the way that they treat her is incredibly relatable to everybody else of color.”
This is a new low, even for Harry.
The woke Prince alarmingly has also suggested that the former B-list TV starlet could have been a huge addition to the Royal Family as someone who was an ethnic minority, given her birth to a black mother and a white father.
He also said failing to accommodate her was a “huge, missed opportunity.”
“Selected to break generational curses”
“It’s what she said to me right from the beginning, representation,” Harry said, suggesting Meghan had also pushed this line of reasoning with the Royal Family.
Of course Harry had to also make sure everyone knew how self-deprecating he was and added, “I, as a privileged white man, didn’t really understand what she was talking about [at first].”
The release of Harry’s book follows the Netflix docu-series.
In one scene Meghan can be seen reading a text from the singer Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, saying Beyoncé wrote, “she wants me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed. Hmm.”
Harry backed that bizarre statement, with an approving “[t]hat’s well said.”
In the Good Morning America interview, Harry said he has been completely convinced of woke ideology on “unconscious bias,” and suggested his entire estranged family should undergo unconscious bias training.
“I think the same process that I went through regarding my own unconscious bias would be hugely beneficial to them,” he claimed.
“It’s not racism,” it’s just “bias”
It appears Harry is still trying to do damage control over last year’s Oprah interview where Harry and Meghan accused the Royal Family of racism.
“It’s not racism, but unconscious bias if not confronted, if not acknowledged, if not learned and grown from, that can then move into racism. And the way that I understand it is that we all want to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem,” he told Strahan.
Of course if Harry were truly woke, he would understand that is not nearly good enough for the radical woke Left.
He will soon find no matter how far down he bows to the radical leftists, they will demand more.
