Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared war on the woke ideology in the Sunshine State.
He dropped the hammer on one part of the woke agenda that went too far over the line.
And Ron DeSantis said three words that sent the woke mob into a fit of rage.
The Left has turned children into one of the biggest battlegrounds of the culture wars.
Even though they can’t legally consent, the radical transgender movement wants to be able to perform life-altering gender reassignment surgeries on children.
They falsely claim that it’s medically necessary to mutilate children.
European countries like Sweden have moved away from these grisly practices after determining the alleged benefits were not backed by science or medicine.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a national leader in protecting kids from this woke insanity.
He famously said that “Florida is where woke goes to die.”
And now the most despicable part of the radical transgender movement is dead on arrival in Florida.
DeSantis signed legislation that bans gender reassignment surgeries and puberty blockers for minors and prohibits children from attending drag shows.
“Florida is proud to lead the way in standing up for our children,” DeSantis said in a statement after signing the legislation. “As the world goes mad, Florida represents a refuge of sanity and a citadel of normalcy.”
One of the bills prohibits the woke fad of allowing students to pick their preferred pronouns in schools.
“Florida students and teachers will no longer have to “declare” their pronouns in school or be forced to use pronouns not based on biological sex,” DeSantis said on social media. Our teachers will focus on what matters — reading, writing, and arithmetic.”

DeSantis demolished the insanity of forcing kids to declare their preferred pronouns.
“We never did this through all of human history until like, what, two weeks ago?” DeSantis said. “Now this is something they’re having third-graders declare pronouns? We’re not doing the pronoun Olympics in Florida. It’s not happening here.”

While Florida is drawing a line in the sand against these woke schemes, Blue states are increasingly forcing them on children.
