America got rocked by another horrific event.

And Sean Hannity heard one surprising reaction to the tragedy in Maine.
Police identified 40-year-old Robert Card as a person of interest in an unthinkable tragedy where he allegedly killed at least 22 innocent people and wounded as many as 60 others in a series of shootings in Lewiston, Maine.
Police said Card was a “trained firearms instructor believed to be in the Army Reserve stationed out of Saco, Maine.”
Law enforcement added that Card was a troubled individual who threatened violence before and was “hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard Base in Saco.”
RINO former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich reacted to the tragedy on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News.
Gingrich surprised viewers by telling Hannity that the best way to protect American citizens from mad men was to pass Constitutional Carry and eliminate restrictions on citizens being able to protect themselves.
“Well, I mean, first of all, it’s horrible,” Gingrich added. “And I think that we’re gonna have to really think through a better method of protecting people. Frankly, in states that have conceal carry and other permits, constitutional carry permits, you have a much more rapid response to these kinds of people who are crazy.”
Gingrich explained that Constitutional Carry, which allows citizens to conceal carry their weapons without obtaining a government permit, is critical since those under threat can only count on law enforcement to show up after a tragedy.
Gun control laws restrict the ability of Americans to defend themselves as an attack is unfolding.
“And we have no idea what this person’s motivation was,” Gingrich added. “We have to have a greater ability for our citizens to protect themselves because it’s clear that law enforcement comes in after the massacre. But law enforcement’s almost never there to stop the massacre.”
“So, I think we have to think about a whole new strategy because these kinds of people are extraordinarily dangerous, are willing to kill others, and have no sense of decency. And frankly, you have to stop them as early as possible to minimize the loss of individual lives,” Gingrich concluded.
Joe Biden and the Democrats are sure to take the opposite tact.
Biden and his fellow gun grabbers can’t wait for horrible tragedies like this to occur so they can hammer Republicans with emotional blackmail to accept even more gun control laws.
Democrats don’t even wait for all the facts to come in before getting up on their soap boxes to demand Republicans fold on the Second Amendment and gut the Constitution.
