Taylor Swift made her big entrance into the 2024 Election fight.
She’s used to being adored by everyone.
And Taylor Swift was in tears after she got this brutal reality check from J.D. Vance.
Taylor Swift finally endorses Kamala Harris
It was only a matter of time until pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
She finally made her intentions known with an endorsement post on social media shortly after the ABC News Presidential debate.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for [Kamala Harris] because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” Swift wrote on X.
Apparently the billionaire pop star was oblivious to the last three and a half years of chaos during the Biden-Harris administration.
Swift also praised Kamala’s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for his support of abortion and LGBTQ rights.
“I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate [Tim Walz], who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,” Swift wrote.
She included a link for her fans to register to vote so they could add to Kamala Harris’ horde.
Swift signed off the post with a dig at U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), “Childless Cat Lady.”
J.D. Vance responds to Taylor Swift endorsement
Vance appeared on Fox News where host Martha MacCallum asked him about the Swift news.
“She has 283 million followers on Instagram,” MacCallum said. “And I’m sure that someone brought to your attention that she signed it ‘Childless Cat Lady.’ This is a phrase you are going to hear in your dreams and your nightmares for many years to come. How do you speak to women voters who, obviously, they care about what she thinks?”
Vance noted that the American people are facing real problems that a Taylor Swift endorsement doesn’t solve.
“Well, look, we admire Taylor Swift’s music,” Vance said. “But I don’t think most Americans – whether they like her music or fans of hers or not – are gonna be influenced by a billionaire celebrity who I think is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans. When grocery prices go up 20%, it hurts most Americans. It doesn’t hurt Taylor Swift. When housing prices become unaffordable, it doesn’t affect Taylor Swift or any other billionaire.”
Swift was the dream endorsement for Kamala because of her massive popularity and large social media following.
Kamala’s campaign is a calorie-free Hollywood production that’s about joy and good vibes instead of any concrete policy agenda.
Picking up the endorsement of a megastar like Swift fits with her all-flash, no substance approach to politics.
Voters are concerned about the cost of living, illegal immigration, and crime.
And Kamala Harris has no solution to those pressing problems.
