The crowd cheered when Donald Trump made one promise about the American military

The media and the Democrat Party keep living in denial.

Reality is not what they keep telling themselves.

And the crowd cheered when Donald Trump made one promise about the American military.

Joe Biden can’t run on his record because he opened the border and caused inflation with his reckless socialist spending spree.

That left Biden’s only option being to slime Donald Trump as an agent of Russia and as un-American over his promise to put America First.

Trump took aim at two pillars of the globalist political project by opposing new aid to Ukraine and announcing that the United States wouldn’t commit to militarily defending NATO allies who failed to meet the alliance’s threshold of spending two percent of gross domestic product on national defense.

Biden’s attempt to “otherize” Trump on NATO and Ukraine fell flat.

A crowd at a town hall event in South Carolina burst into applause when Trump confirmed that he wouldn’t send American soldiers to die in wars to defend NATO countries that didn’t pay their fair share for their national defense.

“So, does this mean you’re not gonna defend NATO countries if they haven’t paid their two-point whatever percent?” town hall moderator Laura Ingraham asked Trump.

“Well yeah, sort of,” Trump answered. “It does.”

“We have 28 countries and they are taking advantage tremendously,” Trump added. “What I did is, I told them, ‘If you don’t pay up, I’m not gonna defend you.’ And they said, ‘I can’t believe it. Nobody else ever said that.’”

Trump also slammed Europe for expecting America to serve as the piggy bank to defend Ukraine.

“We’re paying for Ukraine much more than they are,” Trump stated. “They should be paying at least on an equal basis. They should actually be paying more. And the reason they’re not is that nobody is asking them.”

Even CNN host Jessica Dean was forced to admit Trump’s argument on Ukraine resonated with the American people.

“And yet there are some people that that really, Kevin, connects with, that are out in America trying to get through a day and see any further — they see aid as a gift. They don‘t know that perhaps we‘re making those weapons in states across the country. They think it’s just, you’re giving money away when there needs to be help at home. And it seems like Trump is tapping into something there, and the Biden administration hasn‘t quite explained it in a way that benefits you know, how an average American can absorb that message,” Dean said in an interview with Democrat strategist Kevin Boykin.

Foreign policy was a strength for Donald Trump.

Trump signed historic peace deals between Israel and its Arab neighbors while also becoming the first President in 40 years not to start any new wars.

If Joe Biden thinks he can get an advantage on Trump in this arena, then he is likely sadly mistaken.
