The great chicken wing crime ring of Chicago just got busted wide open

Feb 7, 2023

We all know that crime is running rampant in our nation right now.

But of all the stories about criminal activity and hardened criminals this one is the most bizarre crime to take place in a very long time.

And you’ve got to see how the great chicken wing crime ring of Chicago just got busted wide open.

Chicago is crime central

Our nation has had some hardened criminals in the past.

Gangsters like Al Capone and George “Bugs” Moran used to strike fear in communities throughout the United States.

Capone himself made a name for himself as being one of the worst criminals in the history of the United States as he turned streets in cities like Chicago into warzones.

But when you read the news it looks like things haven’t gotten better for Chicago and our nation.

And let’s face it, our nation is infested more with crime today than it was during the days of the gangsters.

You have countless criminals and drugs running across our southern border each and every day.

And then in inner cities you have crime running rampant as families and communities collapse from within from all the shooting and drugs flowing in their streets.

Crime in Chicago isn’t anything new as it is the murder capital of the United States with 695 murders in 2022.

Most of the time, murders and crimes in Chicago are gang-related or there are drugs involved.

But one of the biggest crimes to hit Chicago so far in 2023 is all about chicken wings.

Chicago’s Chicken Wing Crook

We all know that chicken wings are no joke these days.

The price of a basket of chicken wings at your local bar will practically cost you your first born child.

So it shouldn’t really shock anyone when they learn that there was a huge chicken wing smuggling ring happening within Chicago’s public schools.

According to Cook County court records, the Chicago Police Department arrested one of the biggest criminal minds in the city, Vera Liddell.

What was Vera’s crime for Cook County to dedicate their time and money to her with so many other crimes and murders going on in Chicago?

According to Cook County, Vera stole over $1,500,000 worth of chicken wings from local school system Harvey School District 152.

If you do that math, that’s about a hundred chicken wings these days.

Vera was in the position of ordering food for her school’s lunch program.

And since the pandemic, she was adding some orders of chicken wings to her orders that never ended up as a food option for the students.

Thank goodness Chicago has taken Vera off their streets.

The city will inevitably be a safer place to live, work, and play now that the chicken wing crime ring has been dismantled.

Deplorable Daily will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.
