Tucker Carlson made his first comments after Fox News fired him.
Carlson did not hold back.
And Tucker Carlson dropped the hammer on Barack Obama with his devastating reality check.
Carlson’s first public remarks following his dismissal at Fox News came in Oxford, Alabama, at a charity event for a Rainbow Omega.
Rainbow Omega is a faith-based group that assists adults with mental developmental disabilities.
Carlson started off by making light of the fact that Fox News handed him his walking papers just before his scheduled speech.
“I think I’m probably the first unemployed person who was ever invited to speak,” Carlson told a laughing crowd. “When I accepted this speech … I didn’t realize how much free time I would have.”
Carlson then broke into a discussion of how the left-wing elites in this country manufacture political division.
“I’m starting to really believe that the divisions that we see in our society are pretty much manufactured,” Carlson began.
Carlson used Barack Obama’s Presidency as an example.
During the 2008 campaign, Democrats and the media pitched Obama as a post-racial candidate.
Carlson said even though he didn’t vote for Obama or agree with much of anything he said, he could still recognize trying to move past America’s endless discussion of race as a good thing.
“Obama’s first term was how we were going to get past race. I didn’t vote for the guy, but everybody I knew was excited, and so was I,” Carlson added. “We elect some guy I disagree with, but we get to the point where we stop picking at the scab and move forward as one country. Why wouldn’t I be for that? As a Christian, I was totally for that.”
But Carlson said that turned out to be a lie, as Obama never stopped talking about race.
“Oh no, we’re not post-racial. All we’re going to talk about is race and make each other hate each other on the basis of race,” Carlson continued.
“The Great Awakening” – the mass movement on the Left that put Black Lives Matter, transgenderism, and other aspects of Cultural Marxism on the American political map – began in the later years of Obama’s time in office.
Obama exploited the death of Trayvon Martin to inflame racial tensions by saying he could have been his son.
The first Black Lives Matter insurrections took place following the deaths of Michael Brown and Freddy Gray.
Carlson warned that the elites focus so heavily on race in order to distract Americans from real problems, like the destruction of the dollar through inflation, the wide open southern border, war with Russia, and the weaponization of the federal government against the people.
“I don’t think most Americans hate each other on the basis of their ethnic differences,” Carlson concluded. “I think a lot of that is just a lie, actually, designed to distract people.”
